Maybe its just me, but I've noticed that when Bob Barker was the host most prices of cars always ended in either 5 or 0, nowadays they put some really strange prices on cars like $21,243
This lady knew exactly what she was doing. She didn't waste no time knowing what the numbers were in the price of the car. That is one very smart contestant.
I believe that when you win the car, you also get whatever money you accumulated in errors. So, she may've made history, but now she could use some gas money lol

On the 85-86 nighttime version, you would get the car and any money you won. I don't think they've ever done it that way on the daytime version.

I saw someone do it on only two tries not too long ago, I think a week or so. She pulled "El Cheapo" on the second try and it was the back of the car.
How often is it a high number is part of the car? That's usually a ruse.
