  • Hip hop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I miss Saturday morning cartoons, riding my bike, flying my kite. Blowing in my video games to make them work. When my boys and I would walk to each others houses. No cell phones, we had pagers. No social networks, we wrote letters. When kids actually played outside. I miss Fila, DiaDora's, Adidas shell toes. Guess jeans with the french pockets, Used by Elie. Running home from school with my backpack on knowing my mom would have some good food waiting for me. But overall I miss the 90's music.

  • the 90s was the shit. good song.

  • /watch?v=6z_kANPN6yw&feature=relmfu

  • im half old-school half new,,,

but it all mainly started back in the begginin for me?

kikn it wit fam and friends,,,now as a rapper,,

started getting alil confused?in directions on writing,,

but....''this is taken me bak, gettin me intouch wit my roots again,

in writing, expression, and all the above about life....

    ''big-ups from ya boi and now'a fan'from the land down under'australia darwin''D.C p.i.n.g

  • @dcping1 None of that even rhymed you fucking faggot. Get the fuck off Celph Titleds song posting your shit. Celph hates people like you.

  • @SuzkiRm85Kijiji GET HIM!

  • yessss, more of this GOOD STUFF! Hip Hop is alive!"

  • yessss, more of this GOOD STUFF! Hip Hop is alive!"

  • no doubt. The 90's were the mecca of quality hip hop.

  • born 89 came to appreciate the likes of a lot of artist from Bone Thugs, 2pac, DMX, Rakim was the 80s but his 18th letter was a classic in 97. Rap A Lot was doing they thing putting out hits. Man it ain't nothing like the 90s from the shows to the music etc

  • im born in 1995 but fuck it what i hear from back then is the best hip hop ever made.. big ups celph titled!

  • I hate how my comment got to the top comments, and now I get 500 responses about Magic Johnson ._.

  • only southerner able to flow..1 love 02860

  • I just listened to this 3 times in a row;) '90 - '94 My high school daze... totally relate 2 what they're sayin;) Hiphop!

  • Its was the best..yomtv raps ans rap city..

  • 90s were godlen man and well never get em back, people used to be personable and didnt have thier phones up thier asses all day, jordan was killing it, printer paper had that perferated hole punched border lol saving shit on floopy disks, plus no god damn music downloads

  • born in 1991, but I was too young and ignorant to appreciate this golden era growing up... ah well at least I'm aware now.

  • 10 people prefer this bullshit era we're in now

  • Keep posting these Celph titled music

  • WOW.... this song has been representing what ive been feeling for the past 11 years since the 2000 when my golden era just ended. my childhood, my music, my movies, my shows, ended in a blink of an eye... 90s were the best. i miss those days so fucking much.

  • Fuckin' Gold

  • How anyone thats a real fan of hip-hop can dislike this is beyond me

  • We gotta start buying records too

  • Everyone who likes this track, learn how to rhyme guys! It's not that difficult, just download some beats from the classic era and go off with your friends spitting to them after you get drunk and smoke. Learn how to make beats and do it like they used to, not this modern day Pro Tools shit. Studio time is cheap nowadays I hear, and some studios still use reel to reel.

  • Hear that sleigh bell thing that they had in all the mid-90's beats? I love that

  • side note. anyone notice how little kids really hate being called little kids, well i have n this song made me think about how many people are gonna get upset that this song makes em seem young. anyway yeah next time you get into a argument w/ a kid via xboxlive or PSN or youtube or whatever just call them a kid, 10yrs old, etc gets em almost every time.

  • Ben franklins face was small. So simple yet so awesome.

  • Who is the girl singing?

  • Comment removed

  • this is proof that they could still make 90's beats today if they wanted to

  • @SW4TR3PP1N well, you know these beats WERE made in like 93 right lol. they are doin a part 2 tho

  • @poinnovate He's right though, but in order to get this sound they gotta bring back the old gear and record it to reel to reel tape like they used to.

  • @dubified89 not really. you can mix it to have this golden era sound even if you did it on FL studio lol

  • @poinnovate No you can't. You have to have the sound of ANALOG in order to get the classic sound. That's the problem. People have to go back to recording the masters to tape like they used to in order to get back the sound. Look at when hip-hop started going downhill, a little bit in the late 90's when they started replacing reel to reel with digital audio tape and then completely in the 00's when it moved to Pro Tools and FL.

  • @dubified89 lol. the style has nothing to do with the equipment. you can mix it to sound like this if you wanted to.

  • when time travel is possible, celph should go back in time to make an album with big l. IT WOULD BE SO DOPE!!!!

  • wheres the chick in the chorus sample from?

  • @ChemValley519 The liner notes of the CD say her name is Sharifa Reefa, unfortunately I couldn't find any further info on her online.

  • This song really prooves that Celph is the nr. 1 underground rapper. There is a lot of good cats out there, but this man is beast.

  • anyone who disliked this needs to off them selves now, this is real shit.... RIP the 90s, the greatest era in hip hop/rap music. = [

  • Even though I'm playing this separately, I had to come here just to like this. Massive props!

  • the 90's was my era, i gotta love it

  • i cant figure out what song this beat is from. i have it in my head but cannot figure out who did the old version. i love all the mid nineties shit.

  • @horriblebreast

D'Angelo ft. Kool G Rap - Brown Sugar (Beatminerz Remix)

  • I dont see how it is possible not to like this track if you are into hip hop .

  • Damn I remember those days like it was last night. Time when you would anticipate and look forward to new albums by now veteran rappers. Yeah I am glad that I was there to witness legends in the making. As it was said a trillion times before todays so called rap and associated swagger bullshit is garbage at most. If you think you are getting old you are probably wrong because really rap nowadays is GARBAGE. 199 now 4 eva mofucka!

  • great fuckin song

  • wow this song makes me wish i was born earlier to live through the 90s, nowadays its just bullshit ppl texting each other from 2 feet away

btw you wrote magic in the end of the first verse , i think its meant to be the rapper Majik Most

  • @carinha12321 yeah someone wrote all the lyrics and i just copied them in but thanks tho

  • @carinha12321 He's talking about Magic Johnson admitting he had aids.

  • @carinha12321 i knoooow the fuckin matrix sucks!

  • @carinha12321 Think he's talking about Magic Johnson having HIV / Aids.

  • @carinha12321 wrong. "magic had it, but he aint an addict or a faggot" referring to magic johnson.

  • @carinha12321 No he means Magic Johnson...with the HIV

  • @carinha12321 nah its about magic johnson how he admited he got aids

  • @carinha12321 It's supposed to be Magic Johnson because it talks about prophylactics since he got aids....

  • Classic!!!!!!!!!! Good shit

  • lil wayne ceated 5 profiles to dislike this song.

  • @KinGreY15

don't mention that fag on this great song please

It was either flava or p-h-a-t

Arsenio, the Wayans and Martin Lawrence was on TV

These are oldies but goodies, difference in OG's and rookies

  • [ HOOK: Sharifa Reefa ]

It's like those days are still so fresh on my mind

Seems like yesterday when I started writin my rhymes

And I miss those days when I look back over my life

Those things done changed, I miss those good times

  • Hate that im the only one i know that really loves this music, when all my friends are into dubstep and mainstream rnb and hip hop. And i cant really ever get them to understand what real music is. When i listen to this music they are hatin on it. Im born to late. Wish i was around when the world appreciated this music.

  • @SeCT0RSEVEN in the same boat brother...no one under fuckin stands..jus takes a lil hiphop homework

  • the fucking 90s were the shit and nothing will change that

  • This album really brings me back, simply awesome.

Buckwild is an amazing producer. For this song he used the same sample of M.O.P.'s song "New York Salute".

  • i am not from the 90s wish i would been there.

the best music has been made there.

but we still have celph best rapper alive

  • The closest thing to the 90's. Top album of 2010 NO DOUBT.

  • 4 people were born in the 2000's.

  • one of the best songs ever

  • People dislike it just to be twats - GET AIDS

  • it gives me chills everytime i play this song...

  • dude, i love this song so fucking much. i never get tired of it, celph is awsome :D

  • I was born in 88, and this makes me wish I grew as a teenager in the 90s era

  • @CHillF2D but.. you did lol

  • @ZoepX Nah I was just a kid in the 90s [2-12 years old] lol. too young/busy playing to REALLY appreciate hip hop and it's lifestyle, like I do now... sadly I'm going to look back knowing Young Money was what everyone was into..

  • @CHillF2D i hear that...to be around for the 36 chambers & ready to die tours would have been insane, we really missed out...

  • the people that dislikes this song Go Fuck Ur Self Bud

  • Lol, im from 1995 and im diggin everything from Grandmaster Flash, to Biggie to the old Ice Cube... Good music is a rare view now.

  • I cant stop swaying, I cant stop moving, I just zone out to thebeat and locked into the lyrics.. Wow.. True artits

  • Yea man I remember growing up and hearing the music, the teens I just couldnt wait to be a teen. But as I grew that music witch attracted so much to growing up slowly died out. When Hip hop "died". It didnt it went back home to the underground is all. Its alive and kickin it. Madz respect Celph Keep it real and tnx for the upload. And R.I.P to the dead MCs

  • M0:00RE??

  • One of those times I wish youtube had a repeat function, just hit that shit and let it run all night long.

  • we need more producers to TRY... and be on Buckwilds level... thats the only way that real hip hop will resurface back to the mainstream... alot of emcees can still flow... and even some of the legendary emcees can still flow... its rare tho... all they need is FAT beats... explosive content like my man Buckwild creates... this shit is ill... much respect 2 Celph and Buckwild... peace!! (godly vibes on this joint by the way)

  • Black milk's shit was dope too

don't like him much as a lyricist but the beats on that were fantastic

Distortion and Deadly medley are two of the best songs of the year no doubt

  • Best song of the best album of the year motherfuckers!!!!

  • i miss those days to

  • I miss the days people didn't whore sniper classes or uses random X's in their name thinking it's cool....*sigh..* I miss the days 1337 speak was unknown.

  • i fully believe the reason there's one or two dislikes on all these songs off this cd is because people like to hit dislike when they see zero or a low number. people are haters. but i really think the people that hit "dislike" liked the songs. i can't see how they wouldn't.

  • I missed those days completely, only in the past 3 years or so have I really gotten into hip hop, and at times I feel despair about it came and went without me ever knowing about it. Holy fuck do I hope there's still a future in it, but at times I have dreadful fears that we're entering a long musical dark age.

On a completely different note, the early to mid 90s was also the golden age of the video game RPG, and I miss those days every bit as much.

  • I feel so lucky to be raised on hip hop in the 90's, back then, hip hop was on my fm dial, nowadays, i feel bad for kids and try and school them. Good thing theirs still real hip hop, but you have to search for it now.

  • love the 90's, still rockin jordan carhartt timbs Nike af1 and lrg. And still pumpin that real shit

  • if u got fuck all of an inelekt u going to hate this song

  • Hahaha finally a song celph aint just relying on punchlines not that he aint sick as fuck but the storytellin is nice.

  • this is the beat of 2010/11 for sure nothing can compare at this point

  • Netjees man

  • dam man i remember the game altered beast good days cant take it off repet

  • who the fuck wud dislike this

  • @relza100 a hater... they lurk bro

  • @relza100 some bitch ass niggaz form the 2000's

  • @relza100 I tell you who would dislike this. All those swag fags in todays generation. They don't know what it means to have lyrics that matter in their raps. All you hear is swag this, and swag that. People that truly have swagger don't even have to mentioon that they have it. Plus it takes more than "swag" to be an MC.

  • @damndisplace07 exactly. biggie and big l had the most ''swag'' yet they didn't need to mention it. they knew they were the shit.

  • @relza100 now it looks like a lit joint for u to smoke with the song

  • this is the first celph titled song ive herd that has an intro where he doesnt say fuck or fucking .. im impressed

  • Comment removed
