Democracy may work in western societies but no one can guarantee its success in China! The consequences of its failure far outweighs the idea of implementing it. Thus, why should we "the Chinese ppl" follow the foot steps of western philosophies? The last time we adapted a western political system was the theory of communism from Russia & that didn't do us much good! China will find its unique way of social harmony and functioning, where a NEW form of political ideology will emerge!

Oh, I am born in Hong Kong and grew up in Canada. I kinda know the pros and cons of either a Democratic system or a Communist gov't. To me, it is just a different LABEL on the same rotten apple!
