Enhanced Riflemans Chest Rig

I need a rig like this but I like to run an open top setup as well as running hard & soft plates... what does BDS have that can fufill my requirments?

@ArmedCivilian556 I don't see much reason why you couldn't just run a low-profile chest rig over a flak vest (think NATO issue), which holds hard plates. Remember, rifle plates are damned HEAVY. Running it this way will also allow you to run the rig without armour if you ever need to divorce the two.

@TheTransmundane What I plan on doing is to have (2) setup 1 will be to run the hard/soft armor together in the same rig as most do. (2) is to run the soft armor underneath as I do every day & to run a low-profile rig w/hard armor on top w/my chest rig. This way I can run the hard plates or not depending on the situation while keeping some level of armor protection via the soft armor. That's why I'm looking for a low-pro PC option.

Check my channel on there I have a vid "low profile chest rig." Great concept cheap, under 30 dollars, and simple. I'm a firm beleiver in K.I.S.S. very durable, I've used it for quite some time.

wow. im upper middle class and i wouldnt pay this much for a vest. and im a spoiled asshat. i get 200$ a week from my parents and im just stunned at how much this rig costs. honestly, why not just get a molle vest from condor for 35 bucks (and i mean the ops chest rig, not the lower quality ones.) and then just buy a molle mag puch that u can double stack your mags in. seriously people dont waste your money.

If your in USMC ad say you want to order an attachment to your weapon like a grip or ACOG or whatever can you order it have it on your weapon?

@psychoguy1017 depends on the people in charge of you and your situation on deployment. If you live in a hole and get shot at allot most people are not going to tell you what you can and can't do. However there are the select few that are in command and shouldn't be.

i like my maxpedition admin pouch vs that different one of yours and i think the velcro is very cheap looking the way u just yanked on it and the whole thing popped open!

For it's day, the AK was way better than the AR, and it still is. Both are simply outclassed by more modern designs like the FN SCAR (the new replacement for the M4 in the US Army)

@UBCSWraith I would put a modern AK against the SCAR anyday. The SCAR isn't nearly as good as it looks to be. Of course it's better than the current M4/M16 rifles but compared to the G36, AEK 971, and Sig 550 it doesn't stand a chance.

It's not just about the ability to kill but the overall effectiveness to keep killing and to kill more faster than they can kill you. Which is why we drop bombs from airplanes these days.

the gas impingment system isnt really reliable thats why all the new weapons ie remington acr fn scar and the new colts ane gas piston
