  • Great song. The version on the "Tornadoes" album is great too. I was disappointed they didn't do a new version of it for the Boo album :(

  • "Woodwork Squeaks and out comes Bud Powell" - the animation shows a guy in a boy scout uniform. Did the artist mis-hear and place a reference to "Baden Powell", founder of the scout movement? Um, he didnt ask?

  • Bud is American for mate

  • yes, but Bud or Buddie is also a common American Moniker. And the lead singer clearly sings "Buddy Powell, Buddy Powell" -- American Jazz Great. Not a khaki shorts wearing Brit Boy fiddler...

  • coolest band

  • Talk about an anthem for a band!

  • There is a different version of this song on every one of their albums--this is the version from "What Up Dog?" but I prefer the 1982 (?) version from the debut album.

  • if you are talking about born to laugh at tornadoes version which is very good as well but not the debut album..

  • I never heard this version by these guys. I like the other version better

  • This is not a patch on the original one on What Up Dog....

  • WTF? the video is missing the second verse:

"Tara Venus was a renta stripper"

  • not bad . . . but the orignal version is SO much better!

  • whats the original, can you sort this .thanks

  • "The woodwork squeaks and out comes Bud Powell".....too much.

  • class tune love it i got the album what up dog :D all thanks to super mario bros playing walk the dinosaur in the bar scene
