I think it's quite obvious that this man is in some way mentally slow. If not, then he is just a terrible public speaker.
That being said, I think he needs to evaluate his problems and see why he is only getting paid minimum wage at McDonalds. The first of those reasons being:
1. Because he works at McDonalds
2. This is capitalism. There are some that will win and some that will lose. The government should not give it to you on a silver platter.

Obama's obvious answer should have been this: "It's not the Federal Government's job to get you better benefits at your job. You work for a successful organization (McDonalds) and there's plenty of opportunity to advance if you work hard. And that's what you should do to improve your situtaion. Too many people are getting the idea to wail for the government to give them something." It's pathetic that Obama doesn't understand basic American work ethic principals.

02/12/09 News reports Obama's "Making Work Pay" tax credit will be reduced from $500 per worker to $400, with couples eligible for an $800 credit, instead of $1,000 but this is not going to come in a check for the full amount. Starting in June people will be recieve $13 a week.
The stimulus bill has to go through another vote. It's not too late. Demand that Obama put some of that wasteful spending into your pockets. Go to nostimulus(dot)com & sign the petition to scrap the stimulus bill.
