And even with a huge work force were to move these multi ton stone blocks ( which is impossible because you cant even put enough hands on one to lift it because of too little surface area on the stone ) granite is harder than bronze meaning you can't cut granite with bronze tools. The only thing harder than granite is carbon steel or diamond.

By simple tools I meant they could have been built by 'giants' or a people who had knowledge which we have lost. There are many ways to lift and move objects, some known and some not. Many ancient scriptures speak of these feats. Islam, Christianity and Judaism are but a few. There are also unseen creatures with powers greater than ours, creatures created by God.

We do find other traces of a highly advanced culture as well, in Peru they obviously had balloons or some other type of aircraft, not to mention the spider carved in the desert has one leg that's actually it's reproductive organs reproductive organs that can only be seen with a microscope. In Egypt we find carvings that look like modern aircraft. In very old Hindu script they describe the use of atomic weapons. In order to create an iron teacup and a hammer you would have to be able to forge them which would require a higher knowledge of chemistry that modern science just will not acknowledge existed. To believe that these structures could be created in any other way you would have to disregard all of the evidence. In most cases the stones were vitrified and molded. They did not cut them. Look at Ollantaytambo for example. These stones ware molded in place, you can still see it.

Those stones were cut and quarried and moved to where they are now, that's why. The better question isn't how they drilled the holes, the better question is how did they move a 100+ ton rock. I can't believe people are so arrogant to assume just because these people built their world out of stone that they were some how primitive. Some of those stones cut were in angles numbering as high as 56 different accurate angles cut on one rock. The cuts are so accurate you can not slide a piece of paper between them and so large you can not even move the stones today, some as large as 100 tons, that's not even possibility with today's technology.

@sweetbilly But the pyramids and other megaliths are supposedly built AFTER this catlysmic event that sent us back to the stone age. So you think we still had some of this lost knowledge at the time and used it to make these wonders? Do you know of the ancient astronaut theory? There is a cave painting of people in space suits and there was this inca or mayan artifact that looked very much like a one manned spacecraft. I am still thinking aliens could ahve been involved.

@shithappens667 I know they believe the pyramids were built after a "cataclysmic event" but there's a big argument about that because the Sphinx was buried up to the neck when they originally found it and all the sediment which it was buried in is typical of cross bedding we find associated with deposition via water. some believe it was started before the flood and finished after. There is no way, scientific or otherwise, to accurately date the construction of the pyramids or the Sphinx.

They did have drills, as they could forge and shape metal, just not powered (that we know of) Additionally there are a few different means of quarrying out stone in which you can e reasonably accurate, but some depend on climate, such as drilling a series of holes into the face of rock, then pouring water into these and leaving them overnight, to let the ice expand.

Yeah, that would be very simple technology even today, but how do you move a 100 ton rock form a quarry miles and miles away??

Ancient people used rollers, long smooth poles arranged horizontally on which a platform could be placed. dozens, or hundreds (depending on the size of the block) of workers. When the platform is pushed in one direction, it would roll smoothly, and when each roller is outstripped by the travel of the platform, it would be removed from the back of the line and carried to the front.

Of course, with this kind of arrangement, smooth roads are needed. Else giant sledges could be employed.

what about megaliths that are in the andes though? theres no trees there... its like over 4000 feet up

using long smooth poles etc Shinhaquro lol, yes i can see the south american natives cutting precise giant rocks with amazing technology or an ancient art, then stacking these blocks on poles up mountains with no trees for miles and miles makes me crack up..

@Mytheoryous My friend, that is the biggest load of rubbish I have ever heard in my life. That is granite consistently cut for miles at perfect angles, as well as underwater tunnels, doorways etc. It is absolutely impossible that those are anything other than man made.
