The music that is on the soundtrack is a lot more fitting. Using hardcore, or metal, or whatever just takes the art out of the movie. It's like something a middle schooler would think. It's an immature look at a masterpiece. Redrum... whoooaaah.  Too bad they're allowed to use samples from the movie. fateful day is just another hardcore band. This movie was a true work of an actual art.

the story is set in the 70s i think. in the end of the book jack gets taken over by the hotel, and dies and then the hotel blows up. idk what happens in the movie but i guess he becomes a ghost that goes to the part everynight and there is his picture with the rest of the guests
