  • It's said that Gerry Francis & Alan Sugar were big factors in his decision to leave spurs the first time. I recall an incident in a league cup tie at bolton in 1996 where so i've heard it all came 2 a head. Sheringham was (allegedly) unhappy with tactics going into that game, so he & his teamates promply changed them, at half-time, Francis was so incensed by this he substituted Sheringham went back to his original system. score at half-time : 1-1, score at full-time : 6-1 to bolton.....

  • @supahdupahguy81 i remember that game, that was the pinnacle of spurs demise.

  • spurs have got a hall of fame? fuck me, it must be a very short hallway with a lot of black and white photo's. what did sheringham ever win with spurs? an fa cup?

  • It's not just about winning , its about sticking at a club through good and bad and being loyal to that team.

  • sheringham wasn't exactly loyal when he slung his hook to united because he knew he'd never win anything with spurs

  • Next ledgend ? Robbie Keane, if he didnt like spurs he wouldnt of come back :) K E A N O

  • If he was so loyal to Spurs why did he move to Manchester United could it be that he won nothing with spurs and winning trophies ment more to him then his loyalty to tottenham.

  • Oh Teddy Teddy, Tedy teddy teddy teddy Sheringham!

Says a lot when you remember his chants doesn't it? LEGEND and we miss ya ted

  • man utd legend too...what a player!

  • spurs legend deserves to be in the hall of fame!!!!!!!!!
