thanks for this. I have followed the child-care subsidy story in Sweden...it is sooooooooo expensive....and the mothers are unhappy and kids don't see their parents much...a social experient that went wrong! let's keep the arm of the state as far from our families as possible.......
Grashopa, No doubt that the makers of this video are deeply concerned about children's needs and parents' wishes and have taken the trouble to look at research into the costs and effects of third party care in Austrtalia and other countries, the way in which the tax system is increasingly skewed against breadwinner famiilies, the wishes of mothers and the economic and social value of the work that they do in the home. There's no room for insults, ignorance and prejudice in this overdue debate.
What about Fathers? Its parents stop being sexist.
