  • Nicce Shot, But did they remove the nose gong before painting in UP? All CNW SD-40-2s had nose gongs. I've got a book somewhere that has all the renumbers, I'm gonna locate it.

  • Sad to say, but 3029 blew up in August and it's sitting at North Little Rock for the Life Extension program now...

    Luckily there are 5-6 ex-CNW SD40s running in Texas yet.

  • Thanks Gene. I do believe that UP has several other Ex-CNW SD40-2s in storage (I'm pretty sure there are a couple on the Bailey Dead Line) But this is the last one left in opperation, at least for the time being. Thanks a lot Gene!
