i love train and pat but jd fortune sings it a 100 percent better and it sounded amazing live with him 2 weeks ago in myrtle beach and wish they would have had him sing it on leno when after all jd is "suppose" to be their lead singer and 90 percent of the reason why everyone bought tickets to their last tour!!

I thought this was beautiful. I have been a die hard INXS fan for over 20 years, and this is the first vocalist who has ever done justice to Michael's work...bravo! Thank you for sharing...and I do have one question...is that Jon Ferriss on drums..it just doesn't look like him? anyway, I hope I get an answer on that one, but I'm so pleased either way!

This is one of my favorite songs of all time, so I know it pretty well. When I heard this version with Pat, it truly moved me. WOW.  This needs to be in some epic movie. I will always love Michael Hutchence, so I was wary of this, but I like that they didn't do this one with Pat just like the original. Thumbs up.

Don't really like it. IMHO reworking old hits w/out anything new isn't going forward. Would have more empathy if they hadn't chosen to find a new singer/songwriter via a reality show! They weren't a putsy band & MH wasn't some MTV pretty boy. He was a phenomenal singer, 50% of the writing team, the face/personality/soul of INXS. Some respect guys. Wonder if INXS touring US has anything to do with Bono and The Edge talking about "Stuck in a Moment" and MH on Letterman a few weeks ago. Peace.

So based on what you're saying the 3/4 of the founding members of the INXS should have just hanged up their instruments when Michael Hutchence, in a selfish act, decided to hang himself? He was a great singer, they ARE a great band and I think it is a tribute to him that they are continuing to do what they do so well.  This is their career, this is their lives, they should have the right to carry on.

@gecco2003 not sure if "HE DECIDED TO HANG HImSELF" as you say.......I believe as 1000's of others, it was a tragic accident (and not a selfish-deliberate act as suicide would be) while in the throes of an erotic act gone horribly wrong. Perhaps the "selfish" part of Michael was his alleged libidinous nature, something we will never know for sure. In any event, a Wonderful spirit that was taken too soon.

I like the re-imagined song. I was at Wembley in 91' and was such a tight set live. Pat does a pretty good job on this one. If we want more INXS they will have to continue to shuffle front men. My opinion, JD good on some songs but not on others, decent front man but.Michael can never be replaced. His vocal range and stage presence was so effortless. Thank God we still have Andrew,Kirk, two brilliant musicians and the rest of the boys to carry on their legacy of unique INXS sound Cheers mates!

JD is touring with INXS and working on new material. I was skeptical of this album but now really like it. The way the guys are playing and the new arrangements are great. The guest singers bring a great new dimension. Original Sin with Rob Thomas and Dj Yaliedy is now a new song that in some ways surpases the original. Pat is great, JD's singing of Beautiful Girl is great also but he could learn from this, especially about "control" the way Pat controls the soaring "Stay...Stay with me"

Yeah you can't ever replace Hutchins and expect them to stay exactly the same, but we can't bring him back. But INXS still do a great job to this day.

I love INXS. I saw them early this year in NSW Australia, and they were absolutely fantastic! Great band to see live, and I think Monahan from Train sings great with INXS. Hope to see more of them!! :)
