people if you keep saying negative things like that it will not happen you know why cause i know that there are people right now!! are working hard for it but the only thing they need is someone to support them dont say all that nagative things cause i have a strong feelings that negative minded will be reflecting to them and we dont need that now we need some people who are positive and confident about what they are doing and inshala this city will be a new beginning to something better
this city will never be bulit, i mean with all that cruption and all that fucking salaf in the parliment, i really dont think id ever see that city being bulit.
you were right about the city of dream thing, a dream that will never come true, in the end kuwaitees will get bored , stop the project and then dubai does it , and they'll be all like , wtf?!
i lived in kuwait for 2 years and half, the guys there have great ideas, but with the speed of work, when this city will be finished we will living on mars. Good luck, but i see kuwaities getting bored after 2 years and stopping the whole thing
Arab people are so proud about their morality and intellectuality. But when they have money they behave the same way like westerners do. Driving big cars, building wasteful homes, shopping in malls and investing in stocks.

Hmm, you both misunderstood my comment. I'm not upset about the capitalist moral but about the fact that the Arabic region doesn't need so many finance centers, because someone has to manufacture something real to feed all these banks and insurances. It would be an economic perpetuum mobile than.
Indeed the Prophet Mohammed[pbuh] spoke the truth when he fortold, that one of the signs of the coming of the day of ressurection, is when the destitute and poor Arabs would compete with one another in the construction of tall buildings. This is clearly seen now in the rivality of the now rich princes in Doha, Dubai, Riyadh, and Kuwayt, who came from destitute families in the past.
Now every rich Arab country wants to have a new futuristic city and finance center... something's wrong, this cannot work. Resources are not endless on the world.
i find it hard to imagine sumthing like that in q8 .. yalla 3asa inshallah .. who says we dont need to improve :P ma3ana i dont know what a silk thingy would do bas yalla better than nuthin

No morality is more dominant than human nature.
