Um you call that a donut? Why do people make things so hard? You what fresh donuts? Buy a can of instant biscuit, fry them and your done! Than just add any powdered sugar or glaze afterwards. Taste just as great as any donut shop.

Tom Thumb Donuts! One of the best things going at the summer fair when I was a kid. Either my tastes matured or the recipe changed because they got sort of cakey and gooey and more greasy over the years. Great fun to watch though.

I don't have cable (I watch em all on youtube and other sites), but if I did, good eats would probably be the only one I would watch about how to cook food. Although I did remember liking unwrapped and Iron Chef (and Iron Chef America, kinda), those aren't exactly instructional shows. Good Eats is pretty much the only real cooking show out there. The rest is trash for housewifes that want to cook trash in 30 minutes or less.

This machine is flawed. I thought it actually made the dough for you too. Come on 40 to 50 seconds per doughnut! What the Hell? If you have three hungry kids on a Sunday morning this would never work. Does anyone remember the story about the doughnut making machine from the 1950s? Also does anyone remember the potato chip making machine from the 1990s? I think I saw it in a SkyMall catalog.
