  • This was real talent and charisma - REAL live stage presence as now for the most part lots of bull fake crap - like these are the days of masks - as in GAGA me with a spoon!!

  • i remember this

  • Such a great song live...she was it in the late 70's and early 80's

  • Debbie was such a beauty! I can't tell you how many young men watched this wide-eyed with their mouth's hanging open! I know, I was one of them. The goofy outfits were just part of her appeal.

  • @aalhazzred411 ME TOO! I was one of them, and my mouth still drops open when ever i see her beatiful face!

  • @boltonox OOps! I meant BEAUTIFUL FACE!

  • =)

  • When I was a kid, I lived for the Midnight Special. There was also Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. This was before MTV, VH1, etc. I am also not ashamed to say that Debbie Harry was one of my first crushes at age 15. She was hot and seemingly nice and kind at the same time.

  • can anyone else make this dress look so good ?

  • @Joeyland Only Debbie!!! She would look good in everything=)

  • if she danced her jumper would pop off

  • a pesar de los años blondy sigue siendo lo mejor

  • damm is debbie beautiful

  • these makes me think of people at a party doing cocaine. i dont know why

  • she can do anything she wants.........;)

  • been a blondie fan since the 70s seen her live 3 times...why would she need to dance?...just needs to sing and look at the camera?

  • 2:24 ...a t o m i c

  • That is EXCELLENT!

Debbie Harry will will never be beat...

  • Nice how Debbie H. works in a speech against nuclear proliferation there. (Otherwise she looks pretty annoyed to have to be there.)

  • I love how she can't dance

  • That song was her breakthrough in Europe...that's the first time when I heard of her and as of then I bought every record of her and became a real Blondie-fan :)

  • I like her little cleavage!

  • Love how they go completely mental at the end. :D

  • right now blue is my fav colour.

  • The lead guitarist looks like the love child of Jeff Beck and Dee Dee Ramone!

  • wrapped like candy in a blue blue neon glow...And a love affair begins,32 years and counting.

  • Makes me really miss Frankie and Nigel !!!

  • Frack me... she was 34 years old in this video! She was born in 1945!

  • Thank you Debbie, for your thoughts on the nuclear

    race, circa 1979!

  • Camel toe perfection !

  • not my favorite blondie songs (obvious reasons; just got fed up with them, etc), but her performance in this one is just perfect.

  • 7:38 Tony Manero !!!

  • Yeah fuck the MAN! Fuck The MAN! Blondie always said Fuck the MAN!!!

  • @The3rdHiltonSister-They were not even born yet when this show aired.

  • @The3rdHiltonSister You're a total moron! Shitney and gaga didn't even exist at the time of this clip, 1979.

  • I've always loved Blondie. I did have a little resentment against her 'cause she had bigger Balls than me but I love a tough Broad.

  • She's awesome but what on Earth is she wearing ? :-D

  • @RockTheOcean4me That's a boob top :-D

  • @tacysassy

Sounds great but that blue potatoe bag in the beginnig is ridiculous, 2nd part was :-p

  • @RockTheOcean4me Have to agree. But did find one that sounds better.

Didn't hang around for the 2nd part first time around.Just as well, one of my least fave songs by her..

  • @tacysassy

    You are a racist ! :-D

Just did not know what to say, kinda popie one lately, ahh whatever... :-/

  • She was so hot then. What happened? I don't ever wanna get old.

  • @SassySouthernSista Die Young, Stay Pretty eh?

  • Clem Rocks!!!!!!

  • @kakomixtle77 Clem is probably the most underrated drummer in rock......eat to the beat is my favorite drummed album.......

  • I love watching Clem bang away on the drums! He is so animated!

  • this was a great tv show. what happened to music these days? where did the instruments go?

  • @xbox360dog no shit its a damn shame;music is not even that anymore ,just cookie monster bs.

  • @lstevens35 cookie monster? you mean cookie cutter?

  • @xbox360dog Don't need any instruments - it's all canned, and the so-called "singers" sing through a voice synth that corrects for range, pitch, timbre, and loops back so it always sounds like at least 2 people are singing - that's why they all sound mechanical, because it IS mechanical...

  • @aalhazzred411 you are 100% correctomondo! Today, we are ALL victims of what i like to call,''The great music Hiest''. It's like all the great art paintings in the world have been stolen by some EVIL prick, and replaced with a bunch of shitty quality copies of the original Masterpieces. Most people are just too dumb and doppey to realize or even notice,,,,,,,That they're all just a bunch of cheap Chinese FAKE ASS COPIES!

  • @boltonox I dunno about Chinese but we allowed music to DIE! We made it acceptable for BULLSHIT to take over via American Idol, rap crap, hip hop and MTV shit that eventually became a coorporation. American music died and so did the value of a REAL artist whom can sing, write and play an instrument! Now, all you have is Bieber bullshit! Whos with me on this?????

  • @mrfrogbutt1 FUCK YEAH! From AUSTRALIA. In Australia we ALWAYS use to look up to the American and British music scene, as it was usually very diverisified and always radical and fresh and exciting and new every 6 months. Whether they were black, white, or what ever we got the best of everything including our own Artists. But the TRUE MUSIC ARTISTS has been swapped out for fake Music Artists 100% created/owned by the 5 big record labels. And REAL artists cant get a look in anymore.

  • @boltonox Yes, indeed. I miss the idea of having an artist that can actually sing, write, play an instrument and have a real band! This new generation doesnt have anything like this at all. All they have is manufactured pop junk,American Idol garbage (glorified karaoke) and stupid bimbos and kids like Bieber with meaningless bullshit passing as music! I havent listened to the radio in more than a decade. Thank goodness for my ipod where I can download the good stuff

  • Yeah your right. I use to love following bands on the highway of Rock and Roll to the top of the charts. Stupid sell out rapper/producers with 0 artistic morals have gone a long way to helping the big record labels avoid having to secure real talented artists for the last 10 years. They cant sing, cant play any instrument, can't read or write music but some how call themselves music artists. Only since music became manipulatable files on a computer using fake auto-tune voices around 1998-99

  • @boltonox Music is dead now. There's only a handful of people making music these days. Actual musicians and bands get shafted by the music industry to the point that they get pushed out. I work at a record store and music sales are quite poor but what do you expect from the way the biz is run? What happen to those days when MUSIC was alive and you had people like Bruce Springsteen,Prince,or Supertramp? So, so sad! :(

  • @mrfrogbutt1 REAL music is dead for sure. Im really hoping its one of those things that has a big return to its former greatness. Its as if ALL the Major record labels are ONLY focused on targeting music to very young children because their a very soft and EASILY impressionable market that don't know anything about quality and are extemely suseptable to B.S marketing HYPE. Most GREAT Pop Rock musicians didn't even make it till they were around 30 years of age!

  • @boltonox Have you ever heard of Kid's Bop cd compilations? That's when the flagging record biz takes the latest crap and repackages it for prekinder kids! That's what today's crap is all about....its safe cheap, sugar infested crap that's manufactured for mass consumption to the masses like rats in a lab! You have American Idol, rap, hip hop and MTV or Disney to blame as they wheel out the next batch once the idols get "old and stale." No need to have talent because a musician will want control.

  • No ive never hear of it but im not suprised. I don't think they would need to do much to it to make it ready for kiddies though. Most rap hip hop and bimbo pop music tart music is about as complex as tic, tac, toe. And only half as interesting. Simple music from simple minded people....for simple minded tweenagers is what i call it. Id be fucking ashamed to be an 30 + Adult Rapper making a living by making REDICULOUSLY dumb music for 11-16 year old tweens but t doesnt worry them at all.

  • @boltonox Well, i couldnt have said it better! Its all ridiculous crap for retarded people beginning with phony ass acts like Beyonce and Rhianna and ending with American Idol to Justin Bieber. Rap and hip hop are just as shameful and meaningless junk aimed at meaningless minds

  • @mrfrogbutt1 Hey! after reading your comment on Beyonce i thought of a joke. Q: How does JZ gaurantee Beyonce has an Orgasm EVERY TIME? A; Easy! he just sticks a cut-out picture of Beyonce's face, over his own face, jumps on top and screams look at me "IM SASHA FIERCE BIOTCH ! AHHhhhh AHHhhhhhh OOoooooooooooo Yeahhh!!!!!! I look so damn hot.........i made myself cum!

  • @boltonox I think Prince said it best when he mentioned that it took him until his fifth album to get on the cover of Rolling Stone and now it takes an American Idol just days after he/she won. His fifth album was back in 1982 and that was 1999! This is from an artist whos career has spanned the ages. I miss those days so much but luckily I can relive them on my ipod. I only listen to the big stars andhavent listened to the radio in ages!

  • @mrfrogbutt1 I'm gonna do what you do! Buy an ipod....load up every decent REAL musician i can think of and just listen to that! I still buy a lot of CD's because of the better quality but the problem is that ALL of the modern bands ONLY have 1 good track (hit single) or two at the most and their albums are all padded out with TOTAL CRAP! And then they usually VANISH 3 months later or change bands anyway! Get the money and run i guess. They're ALL like 1 hit wonder bands from the 70's and 80's.

  • so hot...love debbie
