  • this is for all the people leaving questions in comments: you need to ask your questions on Dr. Schultz website as this is from where he chooses viewer questions.

  • I thought this was a video on scrubs with chem. exfoliants added. Those are a bad idea, no?

  • Thank you, as always!

  • Dear Dr. Schultz,

    Does soy cause acne?

    Thank you so much! :)

  • You are so good. I love you xx

  • where can i find such serum?????

  • i am trying to find a product on the internet with both salicylic and glycolic acids, could you recommend a few brands that carry these types of exfoliants?

  • awesome, thanks for selecting my question dr. schultz! good to know that you highly recommend AHA/BHA together.

for everyone's FYI, peter thomas roth sells a great AHA/BHA combination product. you can find it at any sephora locations.

  • Why are Higher Percent Glycolic Acid not sold in stores if its safe?

  • is it safe to mix using retinol with benzoyl peroxide?

  • Can you talk a little bit about glycolic peels at home? Is it safe?

  • Whst dou you think about pmd personal microdermbrasion ? It work and safe? Thanks

  • can you get glycolic acid exfoliants at the drugstore ?

  • Im 18yo and i dont know if i should start using anti aging products . is it too early ?

  • can someone tell me the name of a product with both in it?

  • @thebrett2727 there is this japanese brand, my gf used to use.. called " Hada Labo BHA/AHA gentle exfoliator". you can get it from ebay :D

  • @thebrett2727 Topix Pharmaceuticals has a line called 'Glycolix Elite' – within this line, there are specific products w/combination glycolic & salicylic acid. (They're labeled clearly as 'Gly/Sal' on the packaging.) The 10% cleanser and 5% treatment pads are both awesome. Everything I've tried by Topix has been amazing. I should be getting paid for this, haha ;-P Hope that helps!

  • @thebrett2727 Hada Labo like issnotyou suggested :D It's a japanese brand free of preservations, colouring.

  • @thebrett2727 I have been using the Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser every other day. I'm very gentle with it on my sensitive skin. So far the results are great. You aren't going to find these products in simple drugstores, generally.

  • @mmoscovici exfoliating cleansers aren't on the skin long enough to do much at all.

Try using chemical exfoliants AFTER cleansing and toning & BEFORE serums & moisturisers etc.

    Hope this helps

  • u guys should try out hadalabo aha bha cleanser :) its gentle enough for everyday use and its a good brand overall!

  • Oh thank you for clarifying :)

  • Wow, I never knew there were exfoliant with aha and bha together! Thanks for the video!

  • Fantastic video as always! :-) Is it safe to use Retin-A in conjunction with an AHA/BHA?

  • @BotherationIsZero I'd love to know the answer to that question too!

  • @BotherationIsZero only if you use those in separate hours . Try AHA/BHA in the morning and Retin-A in night or vice versa whats works for you, or you can use AHA/BHA one night and Retin-A the other

  • @BotherationIsZero I think it depends on your skin and how sensitive it is. I have combination skin which is not sensitive and i always use AHA with Retin-A with great results. Sometimes in the winter months i do peel a little but if you use a good moisturizer you should be fine.

  • @BotherationIsZero No, it actually cancels out the effectiveness of the BHA when used in conjunction with Retin-A

  • Hi. How is Retin-A doing against AHA and BHA?

I am personally achieving better results with Retin-A than I used to with AHA. I have never tried BHA,
