The multiplayer for Perfect Dark conceptually has still not been matched. When I was younger I always thought of the lag in PD a being a kind of cool slow motion effect, and that's just how I've always accepted it since. The variety of weapons, plus the additional functions, as well as the variety of environments and gameplay types make PD the clear winner.

Goldeneye is my fav of the 2 because it was the original, and it made Perfect Dark in the first place. There is one thing you didn't mention that makes Goldeneye better than Perfect Dark 64 and that is LAG! Goldeneye 64 lags in some places but Perfect Dark 64 lags a lot! Your review is invalid and is made up of the basis newer is better. Both games are good in different ways but neither is superior because without one the other wouldn't exist!

here are some thing that goldeneye had that perfect dark didnt

survival mode(you only live twice) i really missed that in perfect dark

golden gun (well yeah it did) but there was only one avalible at once in multiplayer kinda wish they would have put that as a feature

hats...lol

and goldeneye had MUCH better armor system i hated that shield in perfect dark (porotects you from farsight WTF)

so goldeneye still had some things that made me go back to it

my first FPS was Goldeneye night fire fore the game cube. it was the follow up of goldeneye 64 but never played the origenal. mayby i just go check it out.

I agree. Like you said, Perfect Dark just builds upon Goldeneye. It took everything that was good from Goldeneye and made it better.
