I'm not good at sniping in general really but sniping in this game was pretty slow for me. Don't know if you play on PC but I found it to be something that took time on the console. Also the speed and level of precision.

When I was looking for a solution to save Malik this was by far the best video tutorial I came across. While I didn't do it in *exactly* the same way it certainly gave me a great template to work from. I used an EMP mine rather than a grenade which had the benefit of sticking to the mech. The mech explosion took out a few of the bad guys which really helped! Thanks to @Kyorisu for the upload, much appreciated! I should also add that I felt like I'd really achieved something by saving Malik.

damn i can't believe i did it, even without EMP grenade. knocked-out all the enemies, and then just started throwing barrels in that robot (but had to finish him with 10mm). holy fuck, that was almost as hard as getting "Neighborhood Watch" achievement in HF 2: Episode 2

Did it after five tries before I found this vid. I was not going for Pac however, so I ran through with a shotgun and popped a lot of them with the explosive barrels that are nearby.

Impressive - I've tried about eight times and still haven't been able to do it. Looks like you studied the layout well and got your timing spot on - most of all, looks like you kept your nerve, ha ha. I panic and forget all the brilliant ordnance I've collected. I actually felt gutted when Malik was killed and the pressure is on now I know she can be saved. The game design is clever - the pressure is on and there's a percieved time constraint, which is where you lose it.

I was being a pacifist until this event occurred and then I totally went ape-shit when they killed her. Re-loaded, pulled out my upgraded silenced red-dot pistol and busted caps in anything that moved. Couldn't believe how angry I was.

Thanks for your kindness. That you do not laugh at me as I do. I do have the run faster aug and on one instance I managed to actually get along quite well until I was silly enough to sprint directly into the exploding bot. The boxbot always goes down with EMP and those 2 heavies usually too.

You know something always goes wrong, I fail because I panic and I haven´t tried it again. May be next week the day cometh....

You can do this WITHOUT AN EMP. Everyone I checked about this said not to bother without an EMP. All you have to do is follow the walk through, and when the box guard drops just shoot it to get its attention, it will fixate on you and leave malik alone, then continue taking out guys. Once they are all taken out you can just shoot the box guard to death. I did it on Give me Deus Ex.

I've read that people emp'ed the bot with bodies close, causing them to die, but because all of them were knocked out before it exploded they didn't count as dying by your hand. So these people still got pacifist :)

Any deaths caused by the robot exploding WILL count against the Pacifist achievement! So make sure nobody is around the robot when it blows up - you'll have a few seconds to pull away bodies before it explodes.

@Markis2bi4 just try by clicking RS (aim) slightly faster than RT (shoot). it becomes like Black Ops type quickscope, not Modern Wafare 2. but you have to remember that unlike stun gun, they can attack you until they completely fall a sleep. so, better not to shoot enemies right in front of them.

Doesnt the exploding robot kill the knocked out guards that are sleeping underneath it when it blows up? Wont that ruin your passive non-killing playthrough and stop you from getting the achievement?

@dataschmuck Well technically the robot self destructs which isn't your fault. I'm not sure if it counts against pacifist but then that's not the point of the video.

Thanks for your method. I didn't have any stun gun so i used combat rifle and shotgun for grunts, heavy gun for big guys and sniper rifle for the snipers but i should also mention i had full armor upgrade also so that helped.
