I'm a big fan of BCCU, don't get me wrong. But their horn section always sound "whiny" and thin. Mouthpiece selection maybe? Instrument make? I hope yall not using trumpet mouthpieces--it sounds like it. Honestly, the large tenor horn (alto horn) mouthpieces are what you SUPPOSE to use--of course, that's not likely. Alternatives: Karl Hammond 5MPV or 6MPV. IF you use a French horn mpc, I suggest using the most shallow--deeper cups don't respond well on mellophones. Hope this helps.
@Tigerwarhawk your right..about the whiny part..i would expect bcu to be dark with a fat sound with that many horns on the field...good job anyway's though
