  • Thanks for the memories!!! Havent seen the Bridge or the approach since i was dragged out of NYC to puerto rico when I was 11 years old, 16 long years.. Nice vid and thanks again

  • This bridge is so narrow.

  • Great video!

But darn, this train went slow.

  • No kidding O_O. at least it's better than the jammed eastbound traffic

  • @Localonthe8s Actually, the eastbound traffic is not all that "jammed." About two minutes between the J at 0:42 and the M at 1:42, then the next J train isn't passed until 4:27, then the M train at Essex Street. This suggests a frequency of 7.5 to 10 minutes between trains of the same line, which sounds about right for the time of day.

  • @xandervaliya Must be rush hour, did you see the opposing traffic? Also, note that the signals were, for the most part, yellow. There's another consist occupying the rails not too far ahead.

  • @PikalaxALT Not necessarily. Most of the signals on the downhill stretch are timers. There's an aspect on these signals which illuminate to indicate that the only reason the signal is not showing its most permissive indication is because the time has not fully elapsed.

And FYI, this was mid-day, around 11:00.
