What are the laws on the knife you use? I also live in Massachusetts and have recently started finding myself drawn to the outdoors and practicing overall woodsmanship. In these ventures, I have recognized the need for a utility knife on more than one occasion. However, I don't own one because even the laws I have found on the internet seem unclear. Can you help me find a knife I can lawfully use and carry (without a license or permit would be ideal, but I can live if I need to get one).

the knife he uses is just your standard all around kick ass edc or tactical or survival knife known as the KA-BAR

what knife did you use to cut the wood at 1:48? It seems very reliable and much easier than using a wedge and mallet.

That's pretty cool. Its been a while since I've been up through the Berkshires. Nice area, reminds me of where I grew up. Watching the beavers used to be a daily thing for us.

Thanks Bro. I see your digging deep into the vids awesome. We were expirementimg with the beaver dam. My friend would make a "hole" in it so a little water would flow. We went back to camp for half an hour and when we came back the beaver had fixed the "hole" and super reinforced the spot. Those beavers have attitude. And for anybody else reading this we planned on fixing our "hole" if the beaver didn't. It was a great time. I wan't to do a good winter campout, but most of my friends are pusses.
