@chaircitydude part of the deal of the 96 reunion was that Ace & Peter had to sell their claim to Gene & Paul or there would not have been a tour ,I have been a Kiss fan since 1978 ( I was 3 ) & it has been documented over the years how bad Gene & Paul have treated all the other members , & the only people that have anything good to say about them are the people on their pay roll . I still love KISS ,but Gene & Paul have been known to be very ruthless.

@TheRyryramone Maybe you're right as far as Ace goes. But they already owned Petes catman design prior to the reunion, but not Aces. Its the reason the catman image was used on the Kiss My Ass tribute album, but Aces makeup design wasn't. AS for G&P treating others badly, who really knows. Gene and Paul are very driven and have a strong work ethic. Pete and Ace are the opposite, an they simply clashed. As much As I love KISS from '74-77, Tommy and Eric seem to be more in step G&P's ethically

KISS has been around for 30+ years, about 80% fans that go to KISS concerts have already seen them. They need to freshen up the set list like this. This is absolutely awesome. The main problem people have with KISS concerts is that they play the same songs all the time, hopefully they notice the positive reaction to these type songs and change up the list a bit on world tours.

I love Bruce (who is perhaps the most talented KISS guitarist ever) but Tommy is now proving he IS KISS and Eric Singer too but wish he would go back to the blond dude we saw as who he really is before he put the cat-face on. This is great to see all of the talent on display and I really am sad I didn't jump from Tampa Bay to Miami to catch this one. But no "untold concert" is told until they play "Tomorrow & Tonite." IMHO.

If you want to blame anyone for the originals not being around, blame Gene or Paul (mostly Gene) for the greed.

If they didn't sell their precious creations to Gene and Paul, you'd be looking at the "demon", the "starchild", the "hawk" and the "anteater", or something equally stupid. Remember, Pete toured with SpaceTommy, thus supporting the idea. And Gene's "greed"sn't why the originals arent there Ace simply didn't want to bne, and Pete just wore out.

So therefore, both of them are both session musicians hired to play other people. What a disgrace. By the way, I would not sell my first born child to do what Tommy and Eric are doing. The reasons being I have dignity and pride. Money doesn't control my life. Kiss are Paul, Gene, Ace, Peter. Anything is a poor substitute.

As a fan, I would have prefered the original badn to stay together but that was impossible after seeing that show on the "Farewell Tour". The songs that they played on the Kruise were from the 70's that people like ME remember and they weren't as popular as the songs that they play at their concerts but I have all their albums so I play them all. What they do and sell is what the Fans want and not what they want.

This is seriously cool. They really concentrated on early stuff for sure. Now I wish they'd do a make-up free electric( not unplugged) show, and do a lot of non-makeup era stuff. I just re-discovered a lot of it, and its great. Even the Gene songs from the eighties (trial by fire, secretly cruel, etc) , would sound great live. They could throw in doncha hesitate, and even ,tongue-in-cheek, wear Asylum outfits. And preview a song from the upcoming release . The possibilities are endless!
