  • A simply amazing demonstration by two very cool chicks!

  • hi, shouldnt you have your chin tucked in when doing nauli so as to close the bandha?

  • @7digitalSunday. Typically you are right but after long time practice you come to feel where the energy is, so when it's not there -at the level of the throat, actually ready to flood the head- there is no urgent need to restrict. Also, in the video we are not hm.. very seriously practicing ;) at that moment! Enjoy.

  • Thank you for the explanation! Did it take you long to learn Nauli? I keep trying to do it, but so far it isn't working. All the best to you.

  • @TheCelestial108 No it did not, but do not worry. Practice mula bandha and udyanna bandha while doing your asanas and it's ok. Inner muscles will start working and coordinating as the should and nauli will come easily one day.

  • Why can it lead to disorders if it can be so helpful on so many levels? Why might it bother someone with heart problems?

  • Hi Celestial108. Nauli practice increases Shakti energy rapidly. If there is an inbalance due to extra shakti energy it should not be practiced. Actually many very effective yoga techniques should be done only under guidance, or after long experience and good understanding of the energy. It's like taking a strong medicine without knowing why. A good rule always is to do what feels good -to the body not the ego /or zeal and yoga train under the eye and care of a teacher.

  • I see so many videos regarding the nauli I'm wondering, just what benefits does one get from this?

  • It stimulates the digestive fire, removes toxins, indigestion, and constipation, it destroys all diseases and increases the bodily fire.. It aids with excess phlegm, mucus, or fat. It tones the abdominal muscles and massages the internal organs. It can also lead to disorders. "It is not recommended for the average practitioner". It should not be repeated for more than 8 times a day. Those with heart disease, hypertension, or ulcers should not attempt it.

  • Great to see this demonstration. Hoping to see parts 1, 2 and 3 too. Very refreshing to see nauli being practised by women; most of the youtube links are men! Great control. I love to watch this particular practise.
