PART 1: Haven't used in over a year, tried this again, has improved some, but Dev still has stupid things like no spacing after the letter "I" or "aA". It SUCKS so bad to have to hit space EVERY time on those 2 words. Also sucks to have the stupid pin?? If you want to input several different characters consecutively, besides letters, it keeps going back and forth.

PART 2: WHY HAVE THIS EXTRA USELESS STEP? Why not just allow us to choose when we want to go back to the letters like every other keyboard out there? It's maddening and totally breaks up the fluidity of the keyboard for NO REASON. Get the Swype beta (so easy to get just search for it) or download FlexT9, made by the same company which is Nuance.

What happened to kindness and politeness? I read the few last comments and for those like me that have a small screen, and no good OEM keyboard, this is rally the best and I tried them all. Perhaps flext9 is very good too, and swype is not bad either. The next best thing is coming out soon, hopefully. Blind type (tm). And please be polite in your comments.

I find that when using swipe i have to stop before each word and plan the route of my fingers. while typing each letter is much more intuitive. too bad. At first, whitout trying, it looked promising.

@shook919 swype is not just for samsung came stock on my htc glacier. And came stock on my lg optimus as well, many android phones now come with swype.

it's very similar to swype but add some new features. Gesture pad, customizable skins, and resizable keyboard. However its very buggy and when predicting words it selects words that are way out there. Like I typed just and it tried to put in kudzu, several times. Also had to close it for this comment. Has potential, check out the trial, or pirate it don't pay for it....not worth it, swype is still better.

They are doing it slow for demo purposes. It is much faster in practice. It moves just as good as swype, but it is much easier to install. I love swype, but every time I have to install it on my phone it's a nightmare! (typed with SlideIT)

This is a nice alternative for people who for whatever reason can't use Swype.I like Swype way better it's nice that slide it comes with multiple skins but I have a rooted phone and I made my own custom skins for Swype. Used Swype for this post
