River and Rain were in Aleka's Attic. Summer in Rain were in a band Now Rain is in a band with her husband. Joaquin was a perfect fit for Johnny i think and he sounds lots like him. I love listing to Joaquin sing:) I love it when him and Reese Witherspoon sing Jackson:)

Awesome version. Joaquin Phoenix sings it great. I'm sure though that if Johnny Cash had recorded the original in a modern studio of today it would kick everything in the but including Johnny himself. There has never been and will probably never be any greater musician than Johnny Cash. Thank you America for giving the world such a great man (I'm not american).
