  • Killer video! Great for a beginner like me. Definitely one of the best tutorials I've seen and much less daunting than reading the ProTools manual, which reads like a statistics textbook. Thanks!

  • Great tutorial! Thanks a million for it

  • Thanks... believe it or not, I still got stuck on I/O settings, but once I got that worked out it came together fairly easy. Your video was helpful and appreciated.

  • Blake, by far the best class an tutorial i've witnessed since i've been using pro-tools...

  • THANK YOU! I'm new to computer recording and just got pro tools 9. This is EXACTLY what i've been looking for. Best teaching style i've seen yet .I teach guitar, bass, & theory so I truly appreciate your step by step explanation. I've been recording "old-school" for years and never used MIDI instruments until just now. Your style was just what i needed. I'm a happy man!

  • really useful , i like that u have your small ' facetime ' that i can see u are explaining and those little pics...btw, question, anyone knows , is there any layout of the drum preset of Xpands2???actually , i guess no right?, so, i just prastise by my feel .....,right?

  • @mraz1017 Sorry for the late reply on this, but the layout for drum sets in xpand's drum kits is always from B0 to Bb1 on the midi keyboard. It starts with kick on B0 and moves through snare rimshot toms and highhat

  • where did you get xpand?

  • this was a huge help to me in MY project, thanks The teacher couldn't teach what you just did in 10:42 mins

    thanks
