Yoda (360): -360 green -when the unit breaks get the red ring of death... (vaders lightsaber) -Smaller -Older -The good guy in the console war (Yoda good side of the Force) -Makes weird noises
Vader (PS3) -Black -Bigger -Has those air vents that look like Vader(look at a PS3 it resembles Vader) -Mostly Mechanics hardly any soul -Ends up dieing in the long run

Sure, Soul Calibur had a mystic, bordering on sci-fi feel to it, but it still felt grounded in a more global, historical setting. I agree with some who say that it feels more like Star Wars marketing than a true fit.
I do see your point, I think I got the Spawn and Tekken ones, but I find it hard how they can explain how a metal blade, no matter how special, can deflect a lightsaber.
I mean, we've seen it cut through reinforced steel doors and through all sorts of body parts with just a flick of the wrist. I'm sure they'll have their explanation for how a sword can block a saber, but it'll just seem absurd.

Just watch the video and look at Vader and Yoda owning the other characters effortlessly, and listen to what it says, and it seems to me that when they took vader and yoda into the fold, they pretty much handed this installment over to Lucas. dude ya know how there are alternate default weapons and costumes in soul caliber? well what if darth vaders are anakin skywalker as alternate costume and blue lightsaber as alternate weapon. that would be sweeet!

SpiderMan3 ps3 had Harry Goblin. And 360 didn't. 2 months later......downloadable content on XBL! We got him too.
So we WILL get Vader "eventually".
But don't hold your breath for yoda ps3 lol ^_-
We just have to pay 500 points for Vader :p

You get both characters. Just not at the same time.
xbl will get Vader eventually. That WILL happen! They will get to much flack otherwise. Just wait a few months after release. Remember Spiderman3? ps3 game with harry goblin. But 360 had him as downloadable content for 500 points. It will probably be the same.
Also they mite add more characters. But maybe your created character can get a lightsaber! :p

these charecters are going to be sweet and all but its kind of perplexing on how they fit into the story, but it'll be worth it to find out. And its too bad that only 360 users get to use Yoda.
