@murderousbastard83 In Islam Allah says every human has an inborn natural predisposition which cannot change, and which exists at birth in all human beings. This is what makes you "naturally" know what's right or wrong. Like a natural constitution that you're born with. With this you have a feeling that GOD exists somehow; even if you're an athiest. But only after external factors that you consider GOD doesn't exist. This is universal nature that at somepoint every human will think about GOD.
@murderousbastard83 This in Islam is known as "fitrah", and so if someone goes against it, like truly believing that GOD really doesn't exist; even then s/he will have some sort of doubt, confusion or emptiness that there might be one creator, or the feeling to pray to that creator. Unless you train your soul...you will always naturally believe in GOD's existence.
@AllahMadeYou Well, thats definitely one school of thought. Some would say that morality is a built in mechanism that keeps the human race form killing each other. Kind of a defense mechanism to preserve us. That's sort of what how evolution is precieved to work. It's really hard to say about the belief in God though. Humans have believed in gods since the dawn of time because we want to validate our existence due to our highly evolved intelligence. But it wasn't always a monotheistic belief.
@murderousbastard83 In Islam "Fitrah" applies to all humans regadless of whether they're athiests or polytheism followers. But even then, if you notice I'm not saying all but alot of those who believe in many gods would somehow believe in a main GOD e.g. zeus or believe that GOD is one somehow like all the hindu gods and goddesses are actually the same god or energy. Others use different gods or idols to get through to the main major GOD.

If you ask Stephen Hawkings he would tell you his opinion throught the laws and logic of astrophysics, but I couldn't do that. It would be nice if there was one, but I at this point in my life haven't found a reason to believe. By the way the Surah passage is a little vague to be honest and could be misconstrued either way for any creationistic theory. But at least the Qu'ran has more ideas abouth it than the Bible.

The scientific miracles of the Qur'an that can only be explained by the scientific community in the 20th century, the linguistic miracles where in many instances the SENTENCE is the same spelled backwards or forwards whilst the context of the sentence is still boldly claimed. Muhammad an illiterate couldn't have wrote that.
@SkullMech Me being here really isn't proof enough at all that he exists at all. Stephen Hawkins said it is likely for the universe to exist through chemical reactions without the need of a creator. As for the Surahs that explain scientific discoveries, they are very vague and could be interpreted many ways. As for the text, I don't know Arabic enough to comment on them but from spoken Arabic I notice a lot of similar phrasing being repeatedly used in the language so it is not unlikely.

But you never see a muslim scholar saying I dreamt of GOD to donate money or start a war. We have the Quran for all of us humans. Even non-muslims.

@AllahMadeYou Well, I do find it interteing that it describes God as infintely merciful but then infintely just. To be merciful is to bestow a punishment that is less severe than the crime. To be just is to bestow punishment fitting of the crime. That's just an example of a contradiction that describes God in not just the Quran but the Bible too.
@murderousbastard83 The punishment stand on different value structure. e.g. follwing conditions of Islam for adulterer to get caught and recieve the punishment is almost IMPOSSIBLE if not impossible, the Qur'an says they're there as deterer simply by knowing the punishment you're dealing with and how GOD doesn't want you to do it. Look at things within context in Islam, GOD's mercy is infinite no matter how MANY TIMES you seek forgivness no matter how HUGE they are.

GOD is loving but not "love" like in christianity. However, if you ask for mercy, and GOD knows your intentions, then his mercy is infinite. see your question is abit like "can GOD make a rock he can't lift".

@murderousbastard83 In Islam Allah says every human has an inborn natural predisposition which cannot change, and which exists at birth in all human beings. This is what makes you "naturally" know what's right or wrong. Like a natural constitution that you're born with. With this you have a feeling that GOD exists somehow; even if you're an athiest. But only after external factors that you consider GOD doesn't exist. This is universal nature that at somepoint every human will think about GOD.

@murderousbastard83 This in Islam is known as "fitrah", and so if someone goes against it, like truly believing that GOD really doesn't exist; even then s/he will have some sort of doubt, confusion or emptiness that there might be one creator, or the feeling to pray to that creator. Unless you train your soul...you will always naturally believe in GOD's existence.

@AllahMadeYou Well, thats definitely one school of thought. Some would say that morality is a built in mechanism that keeps the human race form killing each other. Kind of a defense mechanism to preserve us. That's sort of what how evolution is precieved to work. It's really hard to say about the belief in God though. Humans have believed in gods since the dawn of time because we want to validate our existence due to our highly evolved intelligence. But it wasn't always a monotheistic belief.

But even then, if you notice I'm not saying all but alot of those who believe in many gods would somehow believe in a main GOD e.g. zeus or believe that GOD is one somehow like all the hindu gods and goddesses are actually the same god or energy. Others use different gods or idols to get through to the main major GOD.

If you ask Stephen Hawkings he would tell you his opinion throught the laws and logic of astrophysics, but I couldn't do that. It would be nice if there was one, but I at this point in my life haven't found a reason to believe. By the way the Surah passage is a little vague to be honest and could be misconstrued either way for any creationistic theory. But at least the Qu'ran has more ideas abouth it than the Bible.

The scientific miracles of the Qur'an that can only be explained by the scientific community in the 20th century, the linguistic miracles where in many instances the SENTENCE is the same spelled backwards or forwards whilst the context of the sentence is still boldly claimed. @SkullMech Me being here really isn't proof enough at all that he exists at all. Stephen Hawkins said it is likely for the universe to exist through chemical reactions without the need of a creator. As for the Surahs that explain scientific discoveries, they are very vague and could be interpreted many ways. As for the text, I don't know Arabic enough to comment on them but from spoken Arabic I notice a lot of similar phrasing being repeatedly used in the language so it is not unlikely.

@AllahMadeYou Well, just because someone did write a book of guidelines and said God inspired him to do so may or may not be true. But we can't proove or disproove it, only speculate. The ones that believe Muhammed Ibn Abdullah was right are Muslims, the ones that don't believe are Christians, Jews, Atheists, etc...
Personally I'm not sure yet. I don't think that if God exists, that he communicates to us in that way. I certainly don't beleive in angels, so I don't believe in the Angel Gab.

@AllahMadeYou Well, I do find it interteing that it describes God as infintely merciful but then infintely just. To be merciful is to bestow a punishment that is less severe than the crime. To be just is to bestow punishment fitting of the crime. That's just an example of a contradiction that describes God in not just the Quran but the Bible too.

Look at things within context in Islam, GOD's mercy is infinite no matter how MANY TIMES you seek forgivness no matter how HUGE they are.

GOD is loving but not "love" like in christianity. However, if you ask for mercy, and GOD knows your intentions, then his mercy is infinite. see your question is abit like "can GOD make a rock he can't lift".

These countries you see today e.g. sudan,algeria,saudi,kuwait,jordan,somalia etc only existed after the muslim lands have been invaded, alot of them existed less than 100years old including saudi.

Capitalism as you know is asystem of where "money=debt" so you are rich at the expense of someone else starving, africa is only 1example. Secularism justifies its wars to free people from e.g."cruel shari'a" which then capitalism must be implemented in that country only to suit rich countries that invaded it.

@AllahMadeYou Even if muslims ran away and made sharia in their own land, secular armies would chase them to get rid of it, to establish capitalism in the name of "freedom". Latest example is somalia. Sharia was implemented and for 6months there was no war whatsoever, they ruined all the warlords in the land. muslims began to move there even because sharia was there. Then US funded ethiopia to invade...why? no one knows until today, but now it's a warzone again. Search it, its good info to have

Even though our governement and many others are corrupt, I would rather live in a corrupt democracy than a corrupt theocracy like Iran. Politics and religion make a poisonous mix.

Human nature is corrupt yes, but dictating everything that they do is dangerous and creates revolt. That's also something you should have learned from history. Democracy was somewhat influenced by the Qu'ran actually. Jefferson read it throroughly as a reference. @murderousbastard83 If Sharia takes away something like interest or usury, it's only for your benefit e.g. killing is not allowed. sharia is society where you're emotionally, socially, economically, politically stable and safe, problem with people not accepting sharia because they're setting things that are considered norms. if you as a nonmuslim live in sharia, you would pay less than muslim and still benefit from everything of education to medical needs. We were the first to implement benfits.

@murderousbastard83 Don't think that this means you can't have freedom for things that non-muslims do. e.g. relationships before marriage, as long as you do it privatly(doesn't mean secretly), and not in public areas. Sharia lists all this, and recognises it.
