I can't identify the first song used in this film (with the man singing) and it is killing me. The film lists that the music is by Zdenek Sikola and that the orchestra management is by Štěpán Koníček, but I am not sure that the song is by either of them. :(

Maybe someone can help me identify the artist and song name? PLEASE!

Such a great film!

In a class I have been taking about animated film we learned that this film is not stop motion but is actually live action. It has a stop motion quality, since that is something Jan Svankmajer is really into (making inanimate objects have life), but for this film he uses live action, full size "puppets." Also, this is Svankmajer's first film.
