i have 1280x800 resolution..how to make it higher??

My resolution went out of wack, and I tried moving the slider to all the settings and none is perfect the way it was. Any suggestions? I tried updating the driver, but it tells me "the best driver for your device is already installed."

thx a bunch it helped a bunch i clicked i button on my keyboard and the next thing i knew my monitor changed size and i dont have a button that gives a choice from 50 to 400
