The magnets inside a basketball would have to be extremely strong to alter it's path so either:

a) it would be far to heavy to throw that far

b) if he miraculously managed to throw it the magnets would have to be strong enough to make it stick to the hoop.

If it didn't stick to the hoop then there wasn't enough magnetism to alter it's path (at least not a negligible amount). You could say that it's fake and they did more than one take but no, you're either joking or are a complete spastic
