  • hey hey! Have you heard the talk about - fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some great things about it and my friend got amazing Six pack abs and lost tons of weight with it.

  • Man u r hot! Anyway put some sea salt on that melon! Mmmmmmmmm

  • Your skin is glowing! Try sea salt water flushes for colon detox next time! I passed a colon fluke on my first flush!

  • awesome good idea...i have'nt fasted in a while tho...might be a different story for me at 57 yrs.?

  • Serious discipline! What would worry me is the neuron starvation. You can regrow muscle, but not brain cells. Have to research this.

  • @needparalegal

Check out the links I provide in the 'info' bar. Fasting is so good for you... ESPECIALLY for your neuro-system. Heck, walking into Walmart takes more of a toll on your brain cells then fasting!

  • Congrats and props! :) We definitely need to take our health and diet into our own hands nowadays. I've had some ridiculous experiences with "professional" advice, but much success eating vegan or raw and a few fairly brief fasts. The only downside is the fear and hostility worried relatives, who are well and truly indoctrinated into 'normality', can blast at you from time to time. Glad you are well, all the best.

  • Drink gallon of water a day minimum and do a sea salt water flush daily to help reduce toxic load! You will drop weight like crazy!

I lost 10 pounds in ten days!

  • @Zakariah1971

I think that it would be very dangerous to drink a gallon of water and sea salt flush daily. I think integrating distilled water colonics and spring water would be a much healthier alternative. And maybe ingesting some un-iodized Himalayan salts (1/2 teaspoon) every few days...

  • I have itchy skin, will fasting heal it?

  • @JackHu1000

I am not too certain... you never know. In my books, I'd rather try fasting for a few days then rub chemical creams on my skin.

  • Hey, I *think* I have lyme disease, but my PCP suggests otherwise. Still I have so many persistent symptoms that nothing else can cure.

What were your symptoms and what were your changes?

I am only asking because I tried a fast one month ago and had to stop on day 5 because I was throwing up brown bile. I am now on day 2 of another fast attempt. My symptoms are primarily in the joints. SHoulder, elbow, neck and achilles pain. Along with rapidly declining vision :(

  • @arkadyka

Well, brown bile means that something is certainly going on. I had all those symptoms... and I couldn't stand up for long without getting a migrane. The for sure sign of Lyme for me was the fact that I got 'Bells Palsy' (one side of my face went droopy). Then I had a Lumbar Puncture which medically prooved that I had the Lyme bug. Anyways, keep on truckin' with the fasting. That is a good sign that you were getting sick. I could have fasted WAY longer.

  • @aracnia Hmm, you indeed had some serious symptoms. Mine are more theoretical, 14 years of joint pain, tingling fingers once in a while, frequent urination, vision - stuff like that. I am only 30 too...and I feel like more and more joints are starting to hurt. Problem is that throwing up brown bile meant I can't hold water and dehydration was a real threat. I am on day 3 now, we will see how I hold up. I want to believe it is Lyme, but perhaps it something else entirely.

  • @arkadyka Look up this website and READ this book:

    soilandhealth (dot) org /02 /0201hyglibcat /020127shelton.III /020127 .toc. htm

It is all you need to know AND MORE about HEALING YOURSELF from whatever you have. There is no need for 'sick labels'... just cure the problem with rest and relaxation! It is a life changing event!

  • @arkadyka

Well, be sure to analyse what is going on in your life compaired to all of your overwhelming symptoms. Don't give the sickness a name... and dont worry about dehydration... I barely drank water during those 21 days... in fact, during the last ten days I couldn't STAND the taste of water. I was drinking distilled water. Keep listening to yourself. YOU CAN HEAL with fasting as long as you BELIEVE it. I had a great support system while I was fasting, and I hope the same for you.

  • @aracnia

The best thing you can do for yourself is READ DR. SHELTONS hygienic fasting book. It will help break down the walls of fear about living without water/food. We are very resilient beings.

  • @aracnia My analysis come short, none of my blood work comes back positive and doctors are at a loss. I too have a good support symptom so I am happy with that. You right, drinking water is kind of nasty - I really am not drinking as much this time as last time. Problem is I always have stomach discomfort, somewhere between nausea and a weird sinking feeling. If that could just go away then I could fast peacefully...how did you know your lyme went away? Is it still gone?

  • @arkadyka

That is good to hear that you have lovely people around you. I didn't really drink much water... just what I needed. And it was distilled water, so it didn't have anything else in it. I know what you mean about the stomach discomfort. It's almost as if your stomach is so empty that it is re-versing itself. But I believe the feeling is due to your stomach repairing itself. I noticed a HUGE difference in my mental clarity around day 7.

  • Respond to this video... I knew the little buggers were gone on day 7. I was told that the body repairs different aspects after the 7 day cycles. That is why I chose 21 days... I thought it was a great way to help the body regenerate over a longer period of time (3 cycles of 7). I too had that stomach issue and sadly it doesnt go away; but use the feeling to motivate you... YOU ARE HEALING. Even my cavities started to heal during the 15th day through to the end. PHENOMENAL!

  • @aracnia Thanks for all your responses, unfortunately I had to break the fast again due to the same symptoms. I was close to throwing up again the nausea was overwhelming and could not sleep at all last night. SO I could not drink and could not sleep - recipe for disaster. I so wanted to get to day 7 as I also read about the healing cycles, but my body just gives out. Frustrating, upsetting and sad. All my pains except for one are still with me - sigh.

  • @arkadyka

Seriously, I know what you mean. YOU CAN DO IT!!! You give up on yourself. Don't let the fear win!! I couldn't sleep at all and it DROVE ME PRACTICALLY CRAZY! I'd be up until 4-5am thinking about food. I actually imagined EVERY type of food that I ever ate during those nights... I was able to recall how they felt and tasted. You can do this! You CAN HEAL YOURSELF. I want to do another 10 day fast in July. I'll keep you posted, maybe we can motivate eachother! :-)

  • @aracnia Yeah I was thinking about my favorite food the whole time although I mostly thought about fruits and veggies and especially watermelon - i bet you can appreciate that :) The problem was the pain and the nausea, because I did not want to puke more liver bile. Its over now, perhaps I can try again - but this is getting frustrating. NO idea how you went 21 days, but you are pretty awesome for it.

  • The audio on this is terrible. What a shame.

  • i broke my fast with a salad today. my shortness of breath just kept getting worse and my lungs kept feeling weaker...so scary...like i was becoming so frail i was dying, zero ability to exhale. Feel like i need to go back to the ER or something.

I don't wanna go on prednisone, but my life has literally become a bed and a shower for the last few months virtually overnight. Thinking it may be a necessary evil at this point.

  • BTW, I'm at day 4 & trying to beat a bacterial infection/shortness of breath issue i've had the last 2 months.

  • Great job! You looked very vibrant. At what point/day did you really feel like you were leaving your lyme disease behind?

  • @astronautagogo

I really felt a huge difference on day 7! I felt different that day for sure. I wish you loads of luck on your journey!

  • Congrats on your journey sister! Thank you for sharing, you have inspired me quite a bit. I am beginning a 21 day fast today! I needed the extra motivation.. im sure I will be watching it again through out the difficult times. Thanks again... Peace & Blessings!

  • @qweenofme

WONDERFUL! If you need any support (especially at 3am when you can't sleep or stop thinking about food) gimme a holla! It is so worth it... Especially to bite of watermelon after that long! The journey is just as important as the destination!

  • in my opinion i would have sex with you

  • @l1ttleguy1

Thanks for your opinion. Sex is so last century though... Love is now.

  • @aracnia

"Sex is so last century.." yeah, because that makes sense...

  • Thanks for your Vid, inspires me to continue! :)

  • @woodlandjazz69

    :-D!!

  • cheap quality !!! cant hear ya

  • you did it!!

    considering water fasting myself

right now its still in the molding melding manifesting stage....

    cheers..

so much respect for following what feels true to you in your healing path

    i believe in you.

  • @SevaLife

Thanks so much! It is so true... working on manifesting is so brilliant... my favorite thing to do... Fasting... ah... what an experience!! I want to try silent meditation for a month now... :-) Apparently there are a few silent retreats around where I live... :-D! Yeah!

  • How much weight did you lose in this time?

  • wow its hard to believe that you did not eat anything at all for 3 weeks... did u end up going to the doctor to get re-checked for lyme or u really decided to not bother. is it ok to read very much when fasting or you cant concentrate on reading if u haven't eaten at all for 2 days or more.? thats amazing that u did what u did

  • @mskittyz100

I read sooo much during the fast... the brain is at peak energy... the body is resting.

I haven't gone to the docs yet... I almost think it will just waste more of my time... not to mention they might want to give me more needles... or confuse me. haha

Thanks for the comment mzzzz kitty!

  • @aracnia thats awesome .. i just thought that you would have a hard time concentrating if your not eating but maybe its just like that part of the time...i've always wanted to try fasting . maybe just for a week though. . like maybe tomorrow and then start eating again on oct 7 . by the way . i am on antibiotics . doycycline and sulfamethoxazole(generic for bactrim) but i dont want to take all these pills . and i wasn't even diagnosed with anything .

  • @aracnia well if u are not going to take their medicine then maybe it kinda is a waste of time to go to the doctor. ..but i think maybe i would want to go and see if they still say i have lyme . (i mean u )

  • @mskittyz100

Yes. I certainly plan on going back to the doctors. I also intend on making a follow up fasting vid... and that's why i want to go to the doc's so that I can find out what the 'mainstream medical' peeps have to say about all of this.

Doxy? That is what they put me on for Lyme... Weird that they didn't diagnose you with anything... I find that the side effects of medicine, more often than not, over power the actual original problems. I wish you all the best!!

  • This is an invitation for you to join in a 30 day water fast starting from sundown on the 9th.

The intention of this fast would be to completely cleanse the body's cells of accumulated toxins, and thus restoring it to optimal health.

During the 30 days of the fast, we would discuss how to maintain our healthy body. Topics which would be covered would be, what we breathe, what we drink, what we eat, and what we put on our skins, and into our hair.contact me for details - rsgriman@hotmail.com

  • @rsgriman

Thank you for the invite.... I just completed the 21 day fast... I will have to pass by this 30 day fast... but I certainly recommend fasting as a means of complete health of mind body and spirit! I wish you all well on your fasting journey!

  • Is it safe to exercise during a fast?

  • Well done for rejecting the meds, i'm sure it took something to focus on this diet , determination comes to mind.I have also rejected the docs advise and declined ssris in her words to 'perk me up short term' and am going on a 9 day holford liver dettox (Patrick Holford) and exercise to remove 48 yrs of excess and rejuvinate myself...well as far as I can at this stage of life haha.BTW more guitar please and fix the mic its not sounding so good. Thanks take care now.

  • @plclrk

:-) Yeah... We can only cure ourselves!!! Medication is a very big part of the problem... along with processed and pesticide foods!

If you ever get the chance to do a water fast, I really recommend it!

    Take care my friend!

  • :) Nice Job on your 21 day fast....

  • @Superfaster86

Thank you SuperFaster!! hehe... have you ever done a 21 day or more water fast?

  • @aracnia

nope i sure haven't...i had to stop on Day 17

  • You need a new mic. :P I should try fasting sometime just for the cleansing aspect of it. Rated!

  • ?!?!?!?!

  • !!!!

  • That was cool. When you took a bite of watermelon after 21 days your face was like "Oh my God, TASTE!".

  • @downhome7500

hahahaa!! Tell me about it... all I could do was laugh while I was eating it. Watermelon Bliss!

  • Amazing! I went 3 days without food and thought I was gonna die.

  • @ZeroFiftyFour

Oh you wont.... as long as you keep fear at bay. Fear is a huge factor in every illness and accomplishment. :-) But three days is like the hard part! haha... so congrats!!

  • I figured 10 mins good time for my tea to brew (;

Wow you are soo strong! you can see in the last days dramatically you getting all stringy no muscles, not exactly weight loss anyone would want! but super strong :)

The foods you come off the fast with are detoxing too lots of detoxing foods. I find dizzy spells from getting up too fast best things is breath really deep bringing arms up like holding a bowl in your belly elbows forward/high and breath out deep like dumping the bowl over head!

  • literally lifts blood up to head height and flushing fresh oxygenated blood quick before falling over! I used to get dizzy spells when young so I learned. I was coke addict(coca-cola)! and no water..

    good healing thoughts to you

  • @GoldenFinchFellow

Thanks for the suggestion. I too would have lots of dizzy spells... periodically do all the time actually. That seems like a wonderful suggestion... totally going to try that... like right... now! hahhaa

  • @aracnia I probably learned it seeing qi-gong stuff.. but really I can't explain it well it's purely a in the dizzy moment reaction it feels like it's working. I've had the worst dizzy spells after almost falling asleep in too hot a bath.. and I did that a bunch of times if I did it one less I'm sure I would have passed out... Me I get them now only from not doing enough aerobic stretchy activity over a time and then doing way too much straining exercise, next day I'm all out of wack!

  • what a LONG fast. I'm glad you are doing better now.

I'll admit I know nothing about Lyme Disease, but I hope you'll continue to do better now. :)

Thanks for sharing your journey with us. :)

  • awsome job!!!!!!!!!!!!

i probly will try that for acne

  • @xBARNES187x

:-D! It will do the trick! It will do more than the trick that's for sure!!
