To Fix gta4 on xbox360

first start the game

then invite an other player to play

if it still freezes then turn off xbox and on again and get on doing it untill it does'nt freezes anymore

yes I buyed it :) i stoped playing when I finished game. I didnt play on patches so I dont know If FREEZE problem was solved but anyway they deserved this time to buy this game in my opinion :) I like Physix and endorphin which they implemented to game I was waiting for GTA with ragdoll/physix and GTA4 has it so I buyed it :)

because its not for free at all ! its steeling. You simply using something that you dindt pay for, just you taken it. Do you take something from shop and just go to home ? In shop someone will react quick and catch you. In internet you will not be catch instantly but someday may catch you and you will go to jail and your computer will be taken away, so you risking everyday. If you steel then do it QUIET and dont tell about it everywhere!

i think the ppls freezing problems have to do with online play and stuff etc since most ppl do that, i don't play online or nothing and my ps3 is brand new 80gb and it's been great w/o a single glitch

nope its not online play....its offline...it freezes for like 20-30 seconds and then continues but sometimes freezes right after it's done freezing

As far as I know, PS3 has a protection against demo games. If you have a demo game for a while on your PS3, it will start freezing so you won't be able to play. I heard that the information board freezes it too. So turn it off. If turn off the internet connection, your turn off the information board by default. I hope this helps.

Hey my PS3 freezed on 2 copies of the game and today i borrowed it to my friend so he could test it on his PS3 and he said it worked perfectly for over 2 hours so the problem is dep your PS3 and im going to try get a new one from sony but if you tryed 2 copies and game doesnt work its your PS3 defendly and dont go try all this shit because you shouldnt.trade you existing for a new PS3 what i say

I have problems with freezes (2-3 times) my online is always on! So I turn off, when you turn off your online you don't have any problems with freezing or loadings problem (i download new patch and now is run perfect with ONLINE ON)

if you have installed the game files then go ahead and delete them. disable the internet, unplug the ethernet cord if you have not done so, disable the information board, disable the media server function, turn off the screen saver and restart the system MANUALLY.

ONce you have done all that then you have changes to the game itself. Reinstall the data, turn off the auto save, turn off the flicker filter, and turn off the controller vibration. THis is the solution given by Rockstar to do.

dude, all you need to do is NOT sign in to PSN. all the rest of that is just guessing. i have a 60Gb PAL machine and it froze, i turned off auto sign-in, no troubles since. no need to re-install or anything.
