My dads best friend who is a air crash investigator for airbus, told me that another plane passed through and the same thing happened but they survived and they found out in that section of the atlantic there is actually a whole as in no air so the plane has nothing to lift on, this usually happens in what we call in french a Poto Noir, and he also said there actually has been many incidents in that area in history. But the electrical fault he said he doesn't know how that happened.
a other a330 (or an a340) have the same problem on the same line, at same location about ... but this time pilots can keep situation in hand and go to brazil safely ...

Actually they had delayed the 787 first flight 6 times now...
B787 First Flight: Unknown, no sooner than 2010.
B787 First Delivery: Unknown, no sooner than 2011.
A380 First Flight: 25 April 2005= ON TIME
A380 First Delivery: 2007= 1,2 years behind schedule.
A380 Max Speed: 1 December 2005= Mach 0.96
Feel the difference in delays, the size of plane and the seriousness of both projects...
