@Metall4llife The song was written in Eb tunning. You start the melody on the 12th fret of the "D" string which is an Db. and playing it in drop D would make a difference in the sound, it would just make it confusing.

not bad.. you have all the notes. but try playing it along with the song and get the rhythm down solid too. i know it is tricky to learn for the first time.

@wantsmarre ok first in most most of the solo that slash does you have E flats and in stardard tunning you cant reach those notes unless you are in the Eb Ab Db Gb tunning, and the song was also writen in that tunning. If you want to play it in standard tunning, thats ok too as long as you do it right
