I had fun at Benning. Sand Hill is a good place to train the future clear eyed killers of the U.S. Army. Benning is what you make of it but definitely take care of you feet!
I go to Benning in August for my BCT, and yes i heard theres a hell of a lot of running. Any tips or comments or anything you are willing to share about your experience there? :D
Take care of your feet. Not just for the running but the road marches also. Just have fun. Its some good training and Uncle Sam is spending alot of money on you to get that training so enjoy it. I may see you there.
118? On his overall? it only goes to 99. His line scores can be in the 118 area but not overall but there are many line scores. so one can be really high and then the others could be low so that is not a real good indicator. Like my line scores were 123 and up the highest being 128 but my overall is an 82. I am not sure how they determine the overall but there is a method. So you really need clarify that.
Nice score, mine was 79 and I never studied either. I went in as an 88m. I was originially going to go into the Nebraska National Guard as an 11b, but I decided against it when my son was born. So I decided to stay in South Dakota and be an 88m. I'm going to training in June 2009. I'm also 17!
I like it alot so far, i mean its tough physically and mentally but thats why you go through basic training to weed out the ppl that cant take it. Its alot of fun, its honestly like a huge family that you know will always have your back. it gives you a sense of pride and family away from home.
im not gunna let my brothers die every day i grow so does my knowledge and i kno lives are being teken everyday.... instead let it be mine im only 17 years old starting tomorow got a life to live but what better way to use it than saving a life??? or many of a platoon??

Thank you for not being one of the many people that completely BASH the national guard... i get that alot here, Pvt Nikolai, Wisconsin National Guard. i get alot of harsh words and comments about national guard from everyone here, and im pretty sick of the lack of support. I respect all branches, and everyone that tried to join and couldnt make it. and thank you for supporting all branches as well.

there are also SPECIAL FORCES who are national guard , the 19th and 20th SPECIAL FORCES GROUPS check into that if you want to be SF no rangers though. not open to women either. women make hellava soldier too

Pvt Randall- I got a 71 on my asvabs now I'm 11Bravo and shipping to Benning...yea the highest score is a 99, but what they might be thinking is how the scores are broken down into points in each field...like most of my scores were 120's and i got a 71 AFQT..this info is on your contract under MEPS PROJECTION WORKSHEET / DATA SHEET...good luck all you guys...maybe someday i will see you...Hooah, ARNG Always ready always there

I had fun at Benning. Sand Hill is a good place to train the future clear eyed killers of the U.S. Army. Benning is what you make of it but definitely take care of you feet!

I go to Benning in August for my BCT, and yes i heard theres a hell of a lot of running. Any tips or comments or anything you are willing to share about your experience there? :D

Take care of your feet. Not just for the running but the road marches also. Just have fun. Its some good training and Uncle Sam is spending alot of money on you to get that training so enjoy it. I may see you there.

118? On his overall? it only goes to 99. His line scores can be in the 118 area but not overall but there are many line scores. so one can be really high and then the others could be low so that is not a real good indicator. Like my line scores were 123 and up the highest being 128 but my overall is an 82. I am not sure how they determine the overall but there is a method. So you really need clarify that.

Nice score, mine was 79 and I never studied either. I went in as an 88m. I was originially going to go into the Nebraska National Guard as an 11b, but I decided against it when my son was born. So I decided to stay in South Dakota and be an 88m. I'm going to training in June 2009. I'm also 17!

I like it alot so far, i mean its tough physically and mentally but thats why you go through basic training to weed out the ppl that cant take it. Its alot of fun, its honestly like a huge family that you know will always have your back. it gives you a sense of pride and family away from home.
