  • I just dud that for a fancy dinner tonight!!

  • Beautiful and easy. Now I want that comb.

  • Thanks much for making a video of something you can actually SEE. All the other videos I've seen are too dark and/or far away. Well done.

  • ماشاء الله سهله

  • We hope to have a video up on how to do the "extra" twist at the top for extra long hair. One of the best hair styles for really long hair is to do a simple bun and weave the comb in from the top.

  • That was easy, though my hair is way too long (aroing my bottom and i have difficulty tucking in. Any suggestions?

  • Oh wow, I'm in cosmetology school and they showed us how to do the french twist, but the way they taught me is way more complicated then this!

  • Yea, sure, great...for short-medium hair. My hair is two inches above my waist (super long) and insanely thick. A french twist can take hours to do

  • Easiest hairdo ever! This one is a keeper! Thanks for an awesome video.

Guys – I just got my 2nd bare minerals 9 piece set, so if anyone wants one for free, check out my video on it. It goes for $50 on amazon, and got a good selection of products in it.

  • where can i get a comb like this ??

  • maybe our factory'comb is helpful to you

  • @louisekenny You can get this particular comb and many others like this from our web site at byrddesigns (dot) com

  • So cool I've always wanted to do my hair like this but it would not stay up. Thanks so much for showing.

  • awesome yaarrr loving it

  • awsem !!!

  • its so beautyfull , i ll try to wear it at xmas (L)

  • wow, i never thought it'd be that easy. it looks so complicated.

    love the video!

  • Thank you for this video! I can't wait to try it out myself, a quick & straight to the point tutorial! :-)

  • wow beautiful

  • beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • awesome

  • I had been doing it wrong the whole time. No wonder my french twists don't hold with a comb. I never did the initial weave through the twist, first. Can't wait to do another twist now.

  • @GodlessGirI Glad we were able to help you out. We've been showing people how to do this for years and people are always amazed at how easy it is.

  • its easy to learn ur style but the hair on the top part of my head keeps coming out like a bouffant when i try to roll hair up and tuck it in. please help.

  • @ambanethiar I'm not exactly sure what is happening. I would see if you can get a friend to help you and they might be able to see what you are doing wrong. You can also wear the combs without tucking in the hair. Good luck.

  • I have Asian hair too, and it didn't work for me:((( which is a HUGE bummer cuz that hairstyle looked beautiful!!!

  • @TheEastjewel I've personally put a french comb in 100s of women's hair over the year. It is possible that you are twisting one way and tucking the other which is a common beginner problem. I'm sure that if you follow the directions and perhaps have a friend help you, you will see that it will work on your hair too.

  • nice

  • short, sweet and simple.. thanks

  • The world may never no!! I liked it

  • That video helped me a lot! but, wuz that a real head?

  • Nice. quick and easy. I like how you don't have to mess with all those bobby pins. thanks.

  • i have asian hair, i just tried it n the comb just falls out :(

  • thats gorgeous

  • Haha i seriously feel dumb when I see how easy this is xD

  • its not that easy

  • wow. it's so simple...

  • huh.... I was wondering how to put it on my hair ever since i was little! XD I always thought you should comb your hair down with it!

  • nice

  • woooow! sooo simple. love it!! easiest follow ins. on the internet ive seen. thanks.x

  • This is sooooooooooooooooooooo relaxing!!!!!!!

  • the French comb doesn't lie flat against my head inspite of following ur instructions word by word. please help..

  • @ambanethiar Once you've flipped the comb over after the "weave", make sure the back end of the comb is flat against your head. That way when you "shimmy" the comb in, the back part will already be flat and the comb will be very comfortable.

Of course, make sure that you are putting the comb in the same side where the crease is. Some people twist their hair in the other direction but then forget to put the comb in the opposite side. Hope that helps.

  • simple and unexpensive

  • please do not take this video off youtube 'coz i just lov it! it inspires me a lot to do more of such styles on my hair.

  • @shreshtam Glad you enjoyed our video.

  • thanks it works perfectly for me. it's damn easy. i've watched all your hairstyle tips on youtube. anymore styles with the french twist?

  • Glad you were able to get the comb to work. Once you know the trick, it really is easy. We are working of a few more videos so make sure you subscribe and check out our web site for specials and great hair accessories.

  • simple and quick- love it!

  • this is very nice and easy to do

  • thanks

  • is that it?!

  • Yes, it's that simple. Now all you need to do is find a beautiful comb and try it yourself. You'll never use a plastic claw clip again.

  • it`s beautiful thanks for the tip !! O_O

  • ughhh i feel disabled. i cant do it! :(

  • It takes a lot of practice to get it perfect. My hair's kinda "slippery" lol. It helps if your hair is kinda oily when you do it. Maybe the closer to "hair wash day" if you understand. :)

  • this is lovely... i finally bought a comb to try it, but it's so hard, especially the weave part!

  • thz u so much

  • Wow, that is really gorgeous.

  • thanks

  • when i do it, its weirdo, because when i have extra hair and i have to scrunch it in, thats when i lose control of the hair, and it starts to get lose.how can i help that, my hair passes my midback.

  • i always wanted to learn how to do that but i dont knwo if it will really work with my hair cuz i have layers.

  • Even if you have layers, the comb will hold the majority of your hair back. All you then need to do is pin back the layers that don't stay in the initial ponytail with a bobbie pin or maybe just spray them with some hairspray.

  • oh okay, thanks for the tip!! :P

  • done really simple but it is harder than it looks

  • Actually it really is that simple. Just make sure to do the weave part and it holds very well.

  • grr, I was resonding!

  • my hair is long and i can't do it. not all the hair will fit in

  • I had the same problem, I work with hair down to her butt, you just have to keep practising, for my first try 10 tries but youll get it, just try twisting the hair, sort of folding it into 5 inch 'zigags' until it fits into an apropriate size then folding it all in, i know it sounds wierd and complicated but it will work. If your hair is too sleek, try adding product, not too much, just when its wet, run about 3 teaspoons of jell or moose through the hair as evenly as possible,

    good luck

    :)

  • that is cool!

  • that's so nice

  • just like that

    woooow

    nice

    i likey??

  • You can buy one in dollar stores.

  • Yeah, but it won't be as nice as that. That's a beautiful comb.

  • Thats true, but sometimes, we want to save money and time. You know what I mean? We can just do one of those in our hair without an elastic.

  • completely agreed yoaminglily

no one said it wasn't a beautiful comb

  • I always want to learn how to do hair buns and stuff without elastics or clips. I like the kind with chopsticks. Have you seen any videos that are good? I always find that elastics and clips are hard to use and I just want to keep hair out of the way and just play around with hair tools. But I have short hair so if I want to try these, I'll have to wait.

  • i want one!

  • this iss pretty

  • ya it works with long hair

and it looks so nice too

  • so THAT'S how you do it! i've been wondering how for SOOO long! thank you!

  • that is soo cool! where can you get those comb things?

  • doesn this work with long hair too?

  • Yes this does! You just need to follow the directions. You can also put your hair up like the video Simple Hair Tips - Simple Hairstyles and weave the comb in from the top. We should be posting a number of new videos so make sure to subscribe.

  • this takes practice

  • wow..great secret--- thanks!

  • this is so genius! I've been cracking my head to do this hairstyle and you do it so easily. Keep up the awesome work.

  • wa..so simple.. i wana try next tym..

  • This looks really cute! I think I'll try it sometime!

  • what a beautiful comb!

  • what if i have long hair? should i just let the ends fall down?

  • nice idea why didn't i think of that! i want one of those pins/comb things now!!!

  • Sweet, vary nice.

  • what a easy and nice updo!

  • Wow nice

    Love it

  • This is so beautiful!!! i think things like this are great for elegant occasions, or even when you are rushing for a project and just need your hair up. AWESOME!!!

  • omg Georges Brassens! thats his music at the end. lol

  • Wow, that was so easy, even on my shorter hair! Now I look like Sarah Palin, LOL!

  • can the comb hold up the hair throughout the day and in very active tasks? i need a very durable style and tool to hold my hair up like that in my work

  • it holds hair pretty tight actually :]

  • Wow. That's so easy but it looks fantastic! Can't wait to try it!

  • well that was easy, i thought it was hard :o

    thx!!!

  • So thats how they do it !!!!!!!!! Thanks for posting this video !!!! I have already tied my hair into a French twist !!!

  • that's cute.

  • wow so easy and nice thanks

  • Too bad my hair is twice as long and 15 times thicker. Other than that... it's a nice hairdo.

  • Wow, I've always wondered how to do this hair style... never realized it was so simple! Thanx!

  • omg this is just so great, i`ve tried everything possible but this one`s just amazing thaniks for posting

  • i nvr relized doing a french roll was so easy! im gonna try it it looks so pretty

  • That's a really smart tutorial. Clip looks great but did you know you can also get great hair accessories, perfect for this style from a site called 'Fascinators NYC' or something. The stuff on there is so different and looks AWESOME!

  • i always do this too tight, i get headache and my scalp gets all pink and sore... :s

  • my hair looks like a dog bone which obviously means this not for people with waist length hair. so if you have waist length hair or longer don't even bother doing this

  • Thanks a lot for a great tutorial!

  • i am sooo jealous! might try that later

  • the perfect twist i wanna try it :)

  • superrrrrrrrr

mein to kal hi kar k jaun ki school...:P

    its superr asan

  • omg im soo gonna do tht

    its looks beautiful

  • i'm so gonna try that look, i love it.

  • omg i thought she's gonna atleast take 10 min to do tht but it only took 39 sec's

  • that's the best french roll video I've seen so far and it was only 39 seconds! My hair is about that long as well so this will work for me. Thanks!

  • This technique works...but my hair is just a little too long to tuck it all in, it goes to about halfway down my back.

It does work if I leave the top part out though.

  • i've been looking for this for my friends sweet 16. i couldn't figure out how to do it. this rocks!

  • Cool and easy! it doesn't look so complicated but the dolls wig hair is soft so if you have like different hair will it still work because if you have kind of wavy curly hair type!

  • haha, thank you! wow, this is the first time i find out what to do with those combs. that comb is beautiful.

  • Thanks! I know how to use my combs now!

  • Nice! Screw the pins! hehe Thanks!

  • These are beautiful combs, and look great in - thank you for the instructional video!

  • Aaaaah - a light bulb just came on for me when I watched this. I have one of these clips... now I know how to use it properly!

  • i learned to back comb the hair then brush one side round and pin it up the middle and pull the other side around using a postiche brush twist it round.its sooo hard.and im not allowed to do it any other way

  • Awesome!!

  • Excellent instruction. I've read so many french twist instructions and this is the first one that really helped me in which direction I must twist the hair an how tuck tuck away the ends and even secure it. And this in under one minute. Thank you so much!

  • havent you ppls noticed? that head is a plastic and fake head..just to let you kno.

  • haha...didnt notice tht at first

  • lol, these things look more complicated! i actually giggled cause it was so easy! lol

  • Thanks a bunch! I was having issues with the comb and now you showed me the correct way!!

  • WOW!!! this was awesome
