@MrCorkey123 first u have to either get it into iMovie then export it. OR save it to documents or what ever u want. then when u go to youtube. - Upload- choose file- it should be there

Awesomeee. Thanks for this! I went around searching like crazy for a free screen record software, even bought a few cheapie ones on the App store (which all sucked). This does the job easily and quickly.

Only problem is I can't figure out how to not record the whole screen, like find an option for recording only a section of the screen. :/ But I can't complain, the quality is great!

i recorded a video with audio and everything went fine, and i replayed it and it was fine and plays fine everywhere with audio but when i upload it on youtube the audio is gone, the audio btw was my own voice. please help.

@iTechPod i have snow leopard, and everything is updated but I don't have the New screen recording button under my options. Also, my other options are in grey not black, but i can still click on them. It take me to the apple site "QuickTime 7 Pro for Mac OS X" I have no clue what that means. Am I not doing it right?

@thecastman97 Find the audio file. (Control+Click) Scroll To "Get info". Under name change the .mov to .mp3 (just type mp3 where the mov was). Press Yes. Open up iMovie. Then drag the audio file onto the project you are currently working on!

its not free, i have the free version of quick time you have to have quick time PRO. :( it looks like it does a good job though :/

@musicalMaYa953 It does do a good job! But it should have come free with any mac made after 2008 starting in 2009! What kind of mac do you have?

@iTechPod it only comes with Snow Leopard and after. i totally thought it would work for me but it doesn't even though I only just got my aluminum macbook pro last summer. my operating system is Leopard, and the new features are not included. so we either go purchase snow leopard for 25 bucks or find another alternative.
