It amazes me that as students we were never taught about the 8 Presidents before G.W. However, This is not the same John Hanson who was the 1st Continental President. This is a photo of Liberian Senator John Hanson (same name causes the confusion)...

With that being said. I do still believe that it was possible for him to be at least partially black. His Grandfather was an immigrant "Indentured Servant" in 1661, so it could still be true!?!?!

I heard Dick Gregory talk about this today on the Michael Baisden Radio show and caused me to search for it on You Tube. He made reference to Washington cutting down the cherry tree which has a deeper meaning. I am searching for the significance. Do you know what he was referring to?
