Speaking of ignorant phonies......... Were either of you aware that in Germany they have 60% BASE LOAD electricity produced from solar energy?? No.... most who support coal want the unburdened middleclass lifestyle that OUR coal dollars produce.

Ok then, let's close all coal-using power stations and use far inferior power producing technology.

I wonder how many wind-power generators can be built to equal the amount of power produced by coal.... hundreds of thousands? Would anyone volunteer having such a noisy behemoth in their backyard? No most "environmentalists" are middle class phonies who are only concerned with THEIR environment.

I agree with you. GetUp does sometimes beam themselves out to be highly ignorant and arrogant of the greater plan, don't they?

It's like they present themselves to seem like their expectations of renewable energy can happen overnight. And one could argue that my assumption of GetUp is wrong and that their expectation is supposedly a progressive push but has anyone also applied that train of thought to the other side? I don't think so.

It's not easy to fix everything when the damage is done.
