Very helpful in my decision. But there is one thing I need to correct you on... Cannons do damage according to how much "range" bonus you have, not attack bonus. So basically, cls and rapier have nothing to do with a cannon. It shouldn't be in this video.

Have to comment on the slash weakness bit in the vid: Most, if not all, demons are weak to slash, and most of all, the zami boss( K'ril Tsutsaroth) and bandos boss (General Graardor) also go in that category then most undead creatures.

Wrong cls. Whip is also a slash weapon. Anything you can whip, you can kill with a chaotic longsword.

Speed is more important than the accuracy and strength boosts. Like he said, 5 hits with rapier and 4 hits with cls. Also a lot of monsters are weak to stab, so you would be having only a small improvement in accuracy if you put your cls on stab and sacrifice the speed.

@Wolflove6669 Well depends what you'll do more, if slayer rapier. If bossing probably cls. Personally I'd go rapier and then get a maul for bossing, it is better dps than both cls and rapier but you can't use a shield so tanking would be more difficult.

It's not anything other then stab is 50% dmg it is anything except a spear/hasta reduced 50%. Plus cls is a requirement on really anal pro bandos teams, (Bandos is weak to slash). Plus rapier is better then cls in slayer, because slayer monsters tend to be 2 things, weak to stab, and weak defence in general, which mean that extra hit means more then that extra dmg per hit.

Hmm, gave thumbs up although it only made it harder to decide which I should get.... You should remember that a Ardougne Cloak can be used with rapi giving an extra +6 to stab. Could rapi work well on bosses if I'm also using turmo and ovls/extremes? I'll get both of them later(in a few months maybe?), but I'd want to buy one of them first and play around with it before getting the second weapon. So I wouldn't want to get disappointed in my first purchase either.

Well, guys, the rapier is just like a Whip, honestly. It's just a tad bit upgraded. The CLS, however, looks pretty decent considering the amount of tokens that's required. Don't you think that having a CLS and a whip would be rather more epic? I mean for a person like me, who's probably going to get only one Chaotic for a while, isn't a CLS the best option?

I'm just wondering really, please let me know if I'm wrong.

IMO a persons first chaotic should be the raiper. Its the best all around weapon in Runescape with its stab attack and speed, therefore making it amazing for slayer tasks. Also it isnt half bad for bossing. Getting the CLS later on is a smarter choice.
