For anyone having problem with this bitch of a course, type on youtube "(SECRET REVEALED!!) 3D Dot Game Heroes - How to Beat Dash Circuit Block Circuit and Monaca ". I used the trick on the video and it worked perfectly. It´s a cheap trick but for cheap mini-games I dont mind.

This is the kind of thing that kills a game. Video games are supposed to be enjoyable, minigames more-so. When it gets to the point of having to repeat it 1000 times just to get one friggin perfect run, well, It goes from a fun game to "time to buy an new TV because I just threw my ps3 through my old one" Seriously, why..... One more thing, why the hell would you cut a level editor from a game like this??!!?!? It would have blown little big planet out of the water! From games missed out.

I honestly cannot beat this. I was going for platinum, and I have everything but this completed, even from and spelunker mode. I got gamer grub for christmas which has loads of vitamins and shit to keep you awake (it actually works and tastes great) and I pulled them out for THIS occasion and I still could not get to 65. I got to 66.32 though, and holy hell am I mad

I just made it barely under 65.00

I will be honest, the dash race is the worst minigame I have played in any games in a long time. Block out was decent, and block defense is fun when you what to do, but this... isn't fun, it's very frustrating. I know what i'm saying I play arcade games all the time, and alot of them are frustratingly difficult (not just Danmaku's, run and guns and platformers)!

@Tenfey Finally managed to somehow do it and got the Wing sword, and then spent several hours in Blockout getting the Luck Mallet. At least now I can finally go back to the playing the game.

this is how I won, I didn't blink at all, unless the count down was beginning, then I replayed and replayed and replayed without purposefully crashing or stopping anywhere, and focused on saying "left right up down right down right left" for muscle memory, and it worked after a couple tries, every time I retried the timing would SIGNIFICANTLY get lower each time, and when I looked away all that muscle memory would be crapppp again, this is possible, just really dumb. C: Wing sword sucks too.

Nice run man. These two dash games I am not a fan of, I just FINALLY got this one after a few hours (funny, when all we need now is <65 I got 59.96 xD). I think I speak for most people when I say after beating this circuit I will NEVER PLAY IT AGAIN!!

The first one is awful because of its unreasonable time requirement and this one is awful because its level design is a nightmare. This entire mini-game is just broken and not necessary, it sucks that this is mandatory for the platinum.

after bringing up the select menu you can also hit circle then select very quickly.  The constant pausing i just finished with a time of 54.15 seconds after twenty minutes.

these races are much easier if you constantly hit the select button twice in rapid succession. that way the turns are much easier as you have all the time in the world. when you unpause it with select you are already pushing the direction you want to turn to save you some trouble

Did they playtest these race courses at all? They're stupid hard compared to the rest of the game. Maybe Spelunker mode will be harder, but the races just seem so out of context. And ragetastic. And poorly designed. And broken.

i dont know what the hell is wrong with game developers putting shit like this in a game like this... the game is fun, these minigames SUCK!!!

i probably wont ever beat these courses, and if i cant do that, im not playing the game any further, i refuse to miss anything in this game.

i'd rather leave it incomplete than miss just one item.

@ZeroJinKui agreed. All they would have to let me do is change the perspective to the overhead one I've been using all game and this wouldn't be half as frustrating.

I love how long you went for on lap one, I finally got this after 40 minuets of non stop retrys! And got so mad when my time came up 60.82. I really needed the sword for my platinum trophy :P That dash game is really challenging but fun.
