  • is this true? is it real? please someone answer this is for tomorrow aghhhh! please

  • i am doind this for a science fair project for tomorrow lol i need to now how is this caused? how can this be possible? why does the card float? can someone please help me?

  • @vicklatifah lol i also have a science fair project due on March 5 and my topic is about magnetic levitation.... but this is fake according to the tags

  • Can someone answer me this, why is the copper wire needed? And where can i get the neodymium magnets? I only find big ones. Someone please tell me. And yeah right, why did he use aluminium foil for this?

    Thanks!

  • Anon Science - - How to make perpetual motion device:

First make a Nazi symbol all out of metal. Then on each point put a magnet on it. Finally attach a gear and chain to it that's connected to a motor.

The magnets on each point will be attracted to the other part of the metal cross it's pointed towards. This will cause it to spin forever, generating electricity.

Hurry pass it on before the government and oil companies take down this post lolz.

  • wtf Aluminium isnt even magnetic. Why would you need it?

  • @sneaeky Aluminum and copper induce a current when moved in a magnetic field, this current induces itself an electromagnetic field against the movement. they work as a stabilizer

  • now we can figure out how to make an anti gravity car

  • I am very happy to see the vidoe after you give this make a homemade anti gravity toy

I SAID EXACTLY THAT "Youre one too (mother) ! just read you m*f* fool ) he said that there is writed FAKE up in the description (tags) and you said «your mom is fake» ????!!!!?? AND YOU ANSWER ME??!!?! SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GO FUCK YOU MOTHERFUCKIN FAKE MOM!!

  • @kouki93500 she mad cause her mom fake :/

  • @kouki93500 RAAAAARHHHGGHHH!!!!!!

  • wat do want a medal?

  • Thumbs up if anyone else notices in the tags it says FAKE

  • @DCASANOVA65 your mom is fake

  • @TheMalanoid you're one too justt read you mtherfkr fool

  • @kouki93500 your mom is fake

  • @Derekawesomesaucy isnt that the wire

  • we can use any other metal than copper for tht wire thing right...like aluminium or something?

    pls answer fast

  • thumbs up! im gonna try it once i get the magnets

  • Where did you get the magnets

  • My son loved your demonstration so much he wants to test in for his 4th grade science project. Can you help? I'd like to know where you found your materials? I have the card and foil, but what about the rest? Big thanks and happy holidays.

  • Thumbs up if that was kewl :3

  • @1:08 i see strings..unless thats a scratch in the bowl O.O

  • We did that in science class one time!

  • Cool story bro.

  • Hey, where can i buy those magnets from?

  • Do yo need the bowl though, it seems that if you could get the card stable enough, it wouldn't float away.

  • @GabrielBissey he is using Sulfer Hexafloride, this is a gas that is heavier than air and he needs the bowl to hold it.....its a hoax (FAKE)

  • @TheLingrush Apperently you don't know that a card wrapped with alluminum foil and magnets is heavier than air

  • @tacoterminator Sulfer Hexafloride is heavier that air and can hold an object such as a card wrapped in foil in a place and it would seem like it is floating. So apparently you don't know what Sulfer Hexafloride is or are capable of looking up such a word.

  • @tacoterminator Did you even read what was posted or are you one those people that just likes to start trouble because you have no friends?

  • @TheLingrush That comment was not neccesary and I think I'm old enough to know what your saying you idiot. Sulfer Hexafloride is 6x heavier than air. Also the mythbuster barely got a boat made from aluminum foil to float. Plus the weight of the magnets would make it too heavy for sulfer hexafloride to make the card float. So don't talk sh*t to people that know more than you.

  • @tacoterminator Simply continue going through life looking for trouble and believing every video you see, this guy is obviously not showing you everything here. Do not go thinking your so dam smart, if you were, you would not be watching you tube and thinking this guiys is GOD or something!!

  • @TheLingrush Ok, then if you think it's a hoax, have you tried at all to disprove of it being real? Have you tried setting it up exactly how it was in the video? Did you try your way of putting sulfer hexafloride in the cup to make the card float? Well I just tried what he did in the video, the card barely floated about half an inch but at least i got a result to what the video described. How about you try your theory on this being a hoax and I'll believe you.

  • Someone has nothing else better to do with there life.. lol

  • Is it important it is that the shape of the container?

  • Your grammar makes me want to barf.

  • aluminum foil isnt magnetic

  • Why doesnt it turn upside down and stick to the bottom magnets?

  • we can fly with idea in the future

  • really nice

  • you talk like yoda

  • Awesomeeee =DDD

  • Nope, don't buy it. The magnetic field are static so the copper at aluminum would have no effect and nor the Pyrex bowl. The small magnets would not be stable and would just flip over and crash into the bottom of the bowl. The card does not move like it is attracted or repelled by the scissors. Just a magic trick using mono filaments.

  • Why would anyone be skeptical? Do they not believe in magnetism??

  • @mickeymouse12678 We are skeptical because we understand how magnetism works. Look up Earnshaw's theorem.

  • This i pretty cool! :)

  • @Bankstersaur *is, whoops

  • But what if can't even for not so if?

  • 0:43 4 magnet you need. I think we finally found Yoda

  • I checked this out and have just two questions. What does the copper coil do. Second, when I put in the card it just wants to flip over. What am i doing wrong.

  • kids...try this at home!

  • i puts?

  • AWESOME, lol but why did you put FAKE in the tags

  • Ha the funny thing is that fake is in the tags

  • look! the magic carpet!

  • your hand looks like a fucking head

  • @TheUberAsian hahaha you right! 1:50

  • Excellent, my son is making one for his science project. re.: forces causing movement) grade 3

Where do you get neodymium magnets?

  • @mississauga0909 You can get Neodymium magnets out of old computer hard-drives. Ask a local repair if he can get a few for you if you don't have the tiny and specialized screwdriver heads needed to access them.

  • @CaptBart

    thanks

  • "For those, which are skeptical, I puts a board on the bowl."

    "puts" LOL!!

  • it has strings :(

  • i think h`s in space

  • coooll

  • LOL @ everyone who doesn't understand magnetism

  • its called levitation !

  • @owenbalfe1, and anybody else who hasn't noticed, the coil is to tie the fishing line to. That is the premise behind the demonstration. I'm wondering: why the glass bowl? Why not something more efficient...like a trash can?

  • This is becuase the one thats floating is a negative magnet and the one in the bottom is a positive get 2 magnets the same one upside down try and put them together so stop with the hateful comments

  • But will it blend?

  • how do magnets work ? You cant explain that

  • how did i get here from "all your base are belong to us"?

  • Fuckin... nevermind..

  • is English your first language? because it doesn't seem like it.

  • @PeachesonFire20121 is it important? english isnt the first language of 2/3 of the world =/

  • @barrowscasper12 well a bit more than 2/3^^ but ur right

  • @PeachesonFire20121

    SO WHAT?

  • @PeachesonFire20121 Is 'Fucktard' your first name? It certainly seems that way.

  • @PeachesonFire20121 u r snob

  • Great Video!

  • yeah i dont have copper layin around my house very often....

  • You can see one end of the card lift very slightly when the board touches the strings coming over the edge of the bowl. SHENANNEGANS!

  • That is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool!!!!!!

  • what does the coil do exactly?

  • GR8 VIDEO!

  • you are brilliant. Thumb up.

  • lol board on top? you can still fit string though the edge and tape it to the table

  • so that's what Aladdin used

  • HEY BUDDY THERE CALLED S'

  • This guy clearly does not know what a plural word is.

  • how is it fake its science

  • In the tags it says FAKE. Hmmm, what could we learn from that?

  • omg

  • 'fraid not Dtish. I work with invisible thread and this card levitation is just a rework of a common illusion.

Now, if the presenter is willing to put a plastic plate on top of the magnets, put the little coil ring thing there on the plate, suspend the card and then put the larger glass bowl upside-down over the card, then It's worth looking at.

  • @homesteader9 Except you are wrong. There a 4 fundamental interactions in physics. Gravity, electromagnetic, weak nuclear and strong nuclear force. Gravity is the weakest of these forces and hence when it goes against electromagnetism it loses out.

The way the trick above works is that magnet have 2 poles north and south and like pole repel while unlike poles attract. The magnets on the aluminium foil and the magnets inside the vase are repelling each other. It's basic high school physics.

  • @dm20891 I know all about these things. I am just saying that THIS video is a hoax. Magnetics and electronics are my hobby of several decades Magnetic lines of force would not suspend the card as shown. I ALSO said if the presenter would do it upside down, eliminating the possibility of using invisible thread then he might have a case.

  • Cool video but really whats with your 's' problem. There's s's in the wrong spot and not an s where there needs to be.

  • interesting use of invisible thread.

  • @homesteader9 you can actually do that, the magnets all need to be strong. The math works out. Im doing it right now actually

  • DID DARTH VADER JUST TOOK A VISIT AT UR HOUSE?!

  • @Overlordcontrol00 Haha your funny. ¬_¬

  • Fing Magnets...

  • For something real... watch my latest... WET (aka Summer Storm)... at least you may relax and take your mind off your trivials thing's... lol maxwell

  • damn it wont work on my own!!!

  • good one..........

  • it's magnetic trick,dude!..:))

  • i got a a question?? what is the connect of using a foil and a copper wire and using a Pyrex why dont you just put the playing card in the top... and what happens when the 4 magnets its not flat?? i try it it wont work..

  • MC dont know how to pluralize word!

  • cheers 4 the upload :)

  • bogussss

  • what is the science explanation about the copper coil?

  • It's not anti-gravity because technically its not giving any opposing force to existing gravity and is instead "powered" by magnets which is NOT anti-gravity.

  • @PikKirby not powered by magnets, powered by fishing line!

  • you may like to use the 's' letter. it is next to the 'a' on your keyboard. brah.

  • WTF? Like everyone has a pyrex cone bowl... -.-

  • we tryed that at my school like 10 times but we didnt get that to work, then we tryed with a bigger bowl and 4 magnets at the bottom and it started floating :D

  • why would you make a video like this and then zoom in on the support strings at 1:14 ?

  • @sfinckster fuck you look he put a piece of of wood on top of the bowl at 1:21

  • @randomleyawesome there are support strings that you can visibly see at 1:14 in the video. Sure there is a piece of wood over it, so what! the strings go over the side of the bowl and down below the table where someone can pull on them while pretending to wave a "magic wand"! The reason you can't get it to work is because it doesn't. Uh, oh yeah I forgot the "wood blocks string theory"

  • @sfinckster idiot

  • @qwertyaderp really?

  • @sfinckster yes

  • @qwertyaderp ok, back at ya dumbass

  • @sfinckster owned

  • @qwertyaderp <---prepubescent

  • @sfinckster <---prepubescent oh hey look at that

  • Good scientific magnetic experiment - good work - Thank you a lot.

  • Where's my brain rape whistle when I need it?????

  • i wonder what happens if you fill the it with 2 inches of colored water....

  • The Earth is a giant magnet: Built a rotating magnet and sit in it! It's a 'UFO'

You really think noone ever tried this? Why keep it secret?

  • How come the name the flashes by at 1:10 is a different name than the one that made the video? Of, because this video's FUCKING STOLEN >.>

  • if the card flipped over it would sick.

  • there could be string through that would an your just pulling the string

  • haha!!! take that gravity!

  • Now make bigger magnets and wrap urself with tin foil

  • well where are we supposed to get all the different types of magnets

  • that turns me on

  • Look like someone cant type lol

  • amaingly nice

  • take that sir isac newton

  • if it's just a bunch of magnets repelling one another, then what is the aluminium and copper for?

  • make a big 1,wear a astronout suit that is wraped with aluminium foil and then you can

make a zero gravity jump like the 1 in the space.

  • Cause there's a hole in the cardboard

  • exactly : "Just pure magnetism"

    =)

  • song name plz?

  • wow.... such stupidity...

  • šit

  • It is not anty gravity!

  • @yocki25 Technically, any force used to subvert the force of gravity is anti gravity. As such, yes. It is.

  • @masterofall66 No it's not anti gravity. magnets won't work in vacum cause it needs to be air between magnets for them to reject each other. Therefore it's not anti gravity. If it was anti gravity then airplanes would be anti gravity too?

  • @123battlefield123 That has to be one of the least informed statements I have ever seen. Magnetic fields do not need air (or even any medium, for that matter) to propagate. If you need proof, just look at Earth's magnetic field, it extends way past the atmosphere. However I agree with you that this is not antigravity, since there is still a gravitational force acting on the card. True antigravity is the actual *removal* or the gravitational force, not just cancelling it out with another force.

  • @ItsMusicifiable sorry *electro magnets

  • @ItsMusicifiable Sorry, your are wrong. Anti Gravity is as it states not held by gravity. Case in point, you state that earth Mag sphere extends out of the medium (atmosphere) but earth feels gravity effects from every planet (and other galaxies) Gravity is the weakest force we know and we understand the least. So Technically, birds are anti gravity animals. Planes are anti gravity, because you can never remove gravity, its everywhere.

  • @TheLingrush Just for clarification, Anti Gravity is not a state, it's an effect. Birds are not Anti Gravity animals, as much as chairs are not Anti Gravity machines, because they in no way affect the gravitationnal force which is pulling on them (i.e. They always weigh the same). There are actually machines which produce a true Anti Gravity effect (although only partial at the moment), actually *removing* part of the gravitational force, not just cancelling it out with another force.

  • @ItsMusicifiable First, I did not say Gravity was a state, second chairs can not over come gravity so you are right, they are not anti gravity, third weight and mass are different so your weight comment holds no water and fourth if you are up to date with how they believe the universe started, when you have all the mass of the universe in one place Gravity repells all matter, which leaves the question does gravity really exist...was Newton only partial correct?

  • @TheLingrush I know very well that weight and mass are different, which is why I used the term "weight" and not the term "mass". You see, your (gravitational) weight is the force that is pulling you towards the center of the earth, while your mass is a measure of your resistance to acceleration. So, even though birds are able to counterbalance their weight by applying a greater force in the opposite direction, they *aren't actually reducing the gravitational pull of the earth on them*, (next...)
