I haven't listened to Kittie since their first album, (which was great) and I have to say that this song isn't that great. It's a little too "pop" for their style and the influence of the melodic vocals was diminished by the unnecessarily juxtaposed growls. The idea itself works, displaying a duality between sugar and spice, for lack of a better analogy, but it just isn't executed properly.
