  • Hail to England from Sweden! I agree with the comments on this video, why can't we be allowed to preserve our ethnicity? What's more evil - to love all races and want to preserve them, or to want to destroy them all, making the result an uninteresting, boring blend? There are many theories Jews have enforced multiculture upon us in order to be able to preserve themselves, since they're less likely to gain a homogenous enemy when there are more minorities in a society.

  • We awake. Louder then ever bring out the drums! and the voices of the mighty Fyrd. UT! UT! UT!!!

  • England is my Fatherland.

  • Multiculturalism and Leftism destroyed Europe.

Leftists have no problem with countries in Asia and Africa being nationalist and racially solid, but white countries NEED diversity, and anyone who goes against leftist ideology is branded a racist.

  • I'm a Celt by blood, I have some Germanic blood and I have adopted their names and myths also. Celt and German are kindred, more alike than any other white racial groups certainly. The red dragon of Briton and the white dragon of England must now fly together for both to survive.

  • @RobertBeowulf i agree, i'm celtic but fly the white wyvern english flag as we need to keep english heritage alive, celtic and saxon heritage all the same

  • I used to be an adventurer like you...then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • love this song and love my england :3

  • @daveyRIR Try switching off the brainwashing screen in the corner occasionally, and try engaging with reality, just to make a change lad.

  • @daveyRIR You prick!

  • @daveyRIR: that old 'racist' chestnut again? CAN you think for yourself or have you eaten too many fucking e-numbers? And what is racist/aryan/nazi about being proud of your culture, heritage and history? I'm guessing you don't know the answer to that because your brainwashers never thought there'd be anyone to ask you the questions.

  • I have native briton/celtic heritage but still love old saxon england, we are all english and need to be proud of it, most young people of my age group (teenagers) are completely oblivious and ignorant of their ancient culture and roots, they are driving this country into the dirt and it makes me fucking puke

  • Como nadie me va a entender diré que...

¡ESTA CANCIÓN ES LA PUTA HOSTIA!

La mejor instrumental, las mejores voces, el mejor ritmo... joder, ¡LA ADORO!

  • The Steadfast Trust is the ONLY registered charity for the ethnic English,

We are set up to visit schools and our mandate is to bring about the reintroduction of education about English cultural roots and history-which is currently being suppressed by the Britstate education authority. We feel our children deserve no less than other 'ethnics' in our homeland....and soon we will be selling Forefather's great music through our stall to help aid all this! Waes hael ðaet Angelcynn!

  • We need to take America back just like England should...it does not mean either country hates anyone. It means we want to hang onto who we are as nations. As people. What a shity world it would be if we were all just one mis mash of each other, nothing would be interesting or different anymore.. I will never stand for that. Come to my nation..be my nation ..love my nation..otherwise go home and be happy...WTF is the problem there?

  • Awesome band, awesome song!

  • This song is awesome!!!!!

  • Check out 'Old English Heroes' on this nationist website devoted to folk culture images. I's on worldwide web.wyrdart . co .uk

  • Maybe the Queen will dismiss Parliament, toss the Labor and Communist idiots out, and, i don't know, attack Venezuela or colonize Yemen and banish islam. The empire, good times! What an amazing important legacy reduced to Soccer thuggery and ignorance. Where are the Zulus when you need them?

  • @glezzery62 i pray, i PRAY your not genuinely that ignorant.

  • @itsTempleofSound

It's good you have faith. I am not ignorant. The world progressed during the Empire, you feckless weak individual. That is the truth of it. Civilizations clash, whether you like it or not, but the English Empire has real progress. Just look at the results for proof!

  • @glezzery62 desolation of the african continent, wars or oppression, secession and territory, we invaded Hong Kong over nothing more that drugs. Invented the gas chamber and the concentration camp. Put countless people to death, a number that probable surpasses that of any colonial power. We we're ruthless tyrants of one third of this world. And I dont have faith, though i suppose only a man 'of god' could justify to himself such inhuman cruelty. I am ashamed of the empire, as should you be

  • @itsTempleofSound You have a nice list of poot there. Desolation of the African Continent!? What nonsense. Do you think a nice civilized society lived there before the Europeans came? LMAO. How about the Great things the empire did for culture? How about MEDICINE and HYGIENE and Christianity. You must believe in the "noble" savage because your brain is poisoned with leftist crap.

  • @glezzery62 shut up it's a video website, not a historical forum, no one cares retard

  • @epiphoneexplorerkid

    "I am being repressed!!!!!" lol

  • Respond to this video... Your England is dead and the world is lesser place.

  • NZealandKiwi....erm,I am correcting you, because you are wrongThere was never such an identity as 'celts' ,this is a fake expression made up by 18th century Irish Nationalists. The Romano Brythonnic tribes never called themselves 'Celts' either.

  • When, not if the great civil war sweeps over England, then we will see the power of Ængelisc might. The anger is now palpable.

    Werie ðaet Angelcynn!

  • Wonderful song, the blood still flows

  • England will never die because it is here for a reason some of you have lost sight of forever England and god bless the english

  • Do not discuss anything, just listen and enjoy, we all understood that your nations are great but now it is time listen to this great song.

  • ALL HAIL FOREFATHER!

  • @wilsonthewarrior HAIL !!!

  • I love listening when I'm drunk, I'm canadian and my heritage is scottish. This is the stuff that makes me sing!

  • @kingbungay I whole-heartedly agree. The true tragedy of millions of broken homes is just now to become fully evident. Our youth care nothing for their heritage and know nothing of their own history, all the while having the evils of the holocaust, slavery, and manifest destiny shoved down their throats by some hemp sandal-wearing pussy who wants to tear apart the very fabric of our way of life. But we're awake now. Very fucking awake..and pissed off.

  • @OminousReason Couldn't agree more brother, I'm 18 and researched the history of England myself as I am deeply patriotic and don't take for granted what we have been left. Me and all my friends are well aware of what's happening and I do my best to bring this up. Strength in numbers and as you said people are waking up, The storms coming

  • @TheCrump3t Excellent. Stay the course, brother.

  • @OminousReason I'm a 15 year old and agree, except, for some reason, people confuse my love of English heritage and culture, and my patriotism with me being an ignorant racist.

I don't support the bnp or fascism, I'm half jewish on my mums side, and my dad's family have been here since saxon times...

  • @Videofool12 Half jewish, auuuaaa ;/ too bad.

  • @powstaniecpolski too bad??

  • @Videofool12 Fascism is good. But only in his first stage, when there is strong army, strong law, but liberal economy.

  • @powstaniecpolski give me an example of where fascism has ever been good for everyone in the state?

  • @Videofool12 Give me an example where democracy has.

  • @BytheBeardofYmir it hasn't. I don't think any political system has however...

  • @OminousReason i wish i could like this comment tenfold. If i was to repeat his at school, I would be lynched...

  • @OminousReason Very fucking awake!

  • @OminousReason

That is very true. The cosmopolitan, left-wing middle classes - the same people whose ideas have given us abortion, crime, broken families and shattered communities since the 1950s - love every nation except their own. They love to hate their compatriots because they it makes them different and better than the rest of us. It is really sad when these white, English, wealthy, home owning socialists pretend to be a different nationality - again, because they want to be different

  • @DavyTom71 Ha!- "Citizens of the world", they like to call themselves. What a sad, pathetic delusion. In the States, libtards who've never really seen or experienced multi-culturalism 1st hand love to tell others the joys of it, speaking as if they had. If they truly love diversity so much they'd come down from their pedestal & build their homes in the middle of a black neighborhood, but they don't do they?

  • When will the the rest of England make a stand ... Spread the word

  • @Crowbar011

You mean: 'you're a moron'. If you are going to insult me, the least you could do is use correct English. So go on then, tell me why I am a moron

  • @DavyTom71

He called you a moron because you're right and he's wrong.

  • @HarryGodwinsson

Thanks, mate. I get a lot of abuse from so called celts and middle-class intellectuals who take pride in vomiting over their own country and people. But they will never quieten me. I have read the history books and realised we English have been conned and our land, history and heritage stolen from us; and, to add insult to injury, the English are called treated like the villains. Nice YouTube channel you have too

  • @DavyTom71

Exactly what I say. If you have'nt already check up the Anglo-Saxon foundation forum.

  • @HarryGodwinsson

Thanks, Harry. I will take a look

  • Why are we all sitting in front of a computer when foreign powers rules over our country? Normon-Celtic powers are oppressing us and we allow it! Our national anthem, flag, patron saint and even our sports team badges are Norman!

    Englisc independance

  • @HarryGodwinsson erm, correct me if i'm wrong but celts were here before saxons, saxons are foreign themselves

  • @NZealandKiwi

    The Celts were invaders/immigrants too

  • @NZealandKiwi

That is true yes Celts were here first but it gives them no right to rule over us. On a different note England was named and founded by my ancestoral kinsmen and we intend to free our homeland and regain our pre-1066 Englisc Republic(The Monarchy's line died out at Hastings).

  • @HarryGodwinsson err it kind of does, considering saxons were a bunch of lieing twats who re-gressed britain to before celtic times

  • @NZealandKiwi

1.Why would Saxons lie? 2. Re-gressed? Explain yourself Kiwi....

  • @HarryGodwinsson I think he means improved, he seems to forget the polaric differences between the Roman cultures and the Saxon and ancient British cultures that weren't too dissimilar.

  • @kingbungay

There is change in the air. It is slow, it is subtle but it is getting louder. In the 1990s, English nationalism had nothing. Now there are websites, YouTube channels, books, even political parties dedicated to England. Pubs like to celebrate St. George's Day. But there is much further to go. Schools ignore English history; Politicians ignore England; the Scottish fleece English taxpayers; and the anti-English BBC regard the English as scum. The fight continues..and we'll win

  • @DavyTom71 The tide is definitely turning. Our Folk here in the U.S. are also beginning to wake from their daze, induced by the drug fueled, liberal ideology of a pathetic 60's generation. They're beginning to see through the lies; it's not about hate, it's about love for our heritage, our culture, our land, our folk! Reason will triumph over liberal delusion. Yes, friend, we will win. Victory!

  • Fantastic!

  • ALL HAIL FOREFATHER

  • Oh, bless the good times of brotherhood and freindship!

  • PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT!!!

  • Harold II Cining of á þæt Angelfolc wæs ond áforþ sy uncer rihtcynn inlendiac cining!

  • I have some history questions :-)

    1. Ethnically, which is England more of - native Briton or Anglo-Saxon?

    2. Prior to the Norman invasion, how far Christianized was England? Were the Anglo-Saxons that fought the Norman invaders Christian or pagan?

    3. And lastly, how much did religion affect the nature of the various invasions of England? Is saying that the Christian of these were hostile a fair characterization?

  • @iamthewalrusQ 1. It's hard to say. Old English was a pure Germanic language, which might suggest the Saxons completely replaced the Britons, but DNA evidence proves otherwise. Maybe half-and-half.

    2. The Anglo-Saxons were thoroughly Christianized in the 7th and 8th centuries. But the Danish settlers in the 9th and 10th were heathen and may not all have been converted by 1066, especially in Cumbria.

  • @iamthewalrusQ 3. William the Conqueror came into England with a banner blessed by the Pope. He kept his bargain by making the English church more firmly and completely subject to the Pope.

  • @Oswulf1 Thanks for the replies. So you wouldn't characterize all christian invasions/movements into England as being alike (unwanted)? Just William the Conqueror?

  • @iamthewalrusQ

It's suggested that there were Germanic people already living in what was to become Angleland prior to the AS invasion. This is why there are very few Celtic place names in England and influence on the language. As for the invasion itself, it would have mostly been young men to what extent we don't know. DNA suggests it was a significant influx. Some suggest that the Danish invasion left more of a genetic mark than the AS arrivals but it's mostly speculation.

  • Spread your knowledge of England and try to awaken people to what the government have and are doing to the country. The destruction of our traditions, the shunning of our heritage, the brainwashing media and not acknowledging the British people.

Stand up, be counted and spread the word. Rule Britannia

  • @TheCrump3t

The British people? You've been clearly brainwashed yourself. The act of Union has done nothing but destroy English identity and culture. We are taught nothing of English history, we have no parliament, no voice. It wasn't until recently we were even acknowledged on census forms.

  • @vzx974 If Britain works together to sort out the problems that effect all of Britain first such as multiculturalism etc then we can sort out our independence. Other British countries are less of a threat to our culture than any of nations(nothing to do with disliking other races and traditions by the way, just don't want to see my culture die). I for one want independence and so do the Scottish who are in the same place as us, I don't see how i'm brainwashed though, care to explain?

  • @TheCrump3t

Most people on this channel do not support the idea of being British or Britain. The people on here would prefer to be English; some people on here would go further and describe themselves as Angelisc. But they do not want to be known as British

  • this band makes me proud to live in Surrey

  • @Thisbloodypave and I'm proud to be a Mucker

  • @TheCrump3t Thank you I will never forget and pass this pride down to my descendants

  • I cant stop pushing replay button.

  • "Many modern surnames are in fact Anglo-Saxon forenames" surnames in my own family are Collins and Hawkins from England. I am an American, but I am fiercely proud of my English heritage

  • @Druidikal Good on you, never forget your past, as Churchill once said '' a country that has forgot their past has no future'' good day American brother

  • @Druidikal Good for you mate

  • @Druidikal Good on ya mucker

  • This message is for everyone who visits this page.

The census is out today. When you reach the question that asks for your nationality make sure you tick the box alongside English.

  • @DavyTom71 Make that 'ethnic English'!

  • Make the western world caucasian again! Chase niggers/asians/spics down back their holes!

  • @ThisUniverseSucks I think it is you who sounds like you should live in a hole. Go away, troll.

  • Hail Saxon brothers, may we reach every sea!

  • Davy tom and Oswulf, excellent commentary. Feel free to PM me,

ocean3da, keep you communist feminist disinformation to yourself, your opinion was not sought!

  • I am right when I say there is no such thing as nationality in that era, because there never was. People didn't live long, and their natural instinct was resources where ever they went.

The question has to be asked is, are there monarchists here?

  • No nation has friends in the world, they are all competitors, even the British to the Irish, they have interests but ultimately they have to go their own ways, all nations are like that.

This idea that England and Germany share a heritage when today they don't share any such heritage.

  • FUCKING EPIC BROTHERS AND SISTERS!!!!

  • @14Praetorian I am German, too. But I don't think your comment is foolish like that guy below me. On my opinion your comment is absolutly right! English and German should remeber their roots who makes them to brothers and not to enemies, like in the 20th century. The Problem is that there are still a lot of people from Germany and England who think that the other ones are still their enemies. Lets hope for better times. Hail to England! Lang lebe Deutschland!

  • @BlackNovember87 Heil Deutschland! Long live England!

  • @BlackNovember87

Waes Hael, remember that in world war 1 the German regiment from Anglen refused to fight the Middle Saxon regiments of England. Your regiment could have destroyed ours that day but you didn't kill you Saxon brothers.

We haven't forgotton that nor should you.

  • The modern English are part Norman (and part a lot of other things too). You can't cut that part out of yourself and not bleed.

  • @ashleyyakeley Quite true, but that's no reason not to be proud of our Saxon and Norse heritage.

  • @ashleyyakeley Not as many as you imagine. There are still many Anglo Saxon family names,in fact the majority of trade names are derived from our early English ancestors.

The telltale signs of a revisionist education are the retailing of the 'mongrel' lie.

  • @seaxwielder Right as usual, brothor. Many modern surnames are in fact Anglo-Saxon forenames, such as Aylmer from 'AEthelmaer'. People seem to have kept up the old names as second names (to-names) even after they adopted Norman first names. As for revisionist education--well, don't get me started.

  • I saw 1066, the battle for the middle earth and touched me so much.

I am Brazilian and my people get rid of invaders in 1822.

You are absolutely right to fight for your culture.

Normans bastards control 1/5 of your land and must be accountable for their crimes.

  • The English myth talkers remind me of the Irish nationalists, who themselves continue the myth of the Irish nation that never was until 1949.

If anything nothing in history is guaranteed to happen, everything hangs by a thread.

Someday England will be a nation of it's own, about time.

The people that made Ireland were in part foreigners, just like the people who made England were foreign too.

  • @ocean3da The English are very ancient people.Your bigotry is symptomatic of a received wisdom passed down to you by a self loathing elite.Check your historical facts on the English timeline at englandandenglishhistory

  • @seaxwielder

No they aren't ancient, the name Engla land was used before 1538. The English as a people, a nationality, is only a couple of hundred years old, like all nationalim and national identity.

England has never been a nation by definition. When we do have an English republic, we will have a country, with our flag.

People who spout about an an ethnic group or some sort of unique people are dreamers, may be bigots or racists.

Is the Central African republic a historic ethnic group?

  • @ocean3da Revisionist rubbish. The English have existed as a north European folk for two thousand years.Try getting an education before making a fool of yourself lad. For your edification read englandandenglishhistory timeline.

As for the central African republic-what has that got to do with the English?

You are an Anglophobe .There is a sea change going on.

The ' liberals' who long held political centre stage, calling the shots and calling people 'racist' don't intimidate us.

  • @seaxwielder I'm pretty sure "England" comes from the name "Anglo" as in the saxons who invaded and took it from the Normans? Who had beaten whoever was before... Not one folk, but many merged eh?

  • @racerspeederx I'm pretty sure you're a bit confused with your history.

Check website :englandandenglishhistory and look at the English timeline .

The name England comes from the English tribe who lived in Angeln in Northern Denmark. They were the Engel.

When it was later Latinised by Roman writers this became Angle/Anglo.They with the Jutes formed the first wave of invader/settlers and were joined by the Saxons. The three main tribes lived alongside each other and shared the same gods.

  • @seaxwielder yep, sorry dude, I didn't realize this message had even sent, I got my invasions in the wrong order too :P

But I had no idea about the origins of the name, thanks for that at least!

  • @seaxwielder

No, I am a republican, a socialists and hold two libertarian views. Though, I am a nationalist. I do accept that the English are not some unique people, just as the Central Africans are not either. Well if the English are this or that, well the people who are the ancestors of the country Central Africa, must have some unique identity in their own way. Which I doubt it, even though European and African history is different.

  • @ocean3da Revisionist rubbish. The English have existed as a north European folk for two thousand years.Try getting an education before making a fool of yourself lad. For your edification read englandandenglishhistory timeline.

The ' liberals' who long held political centre stage, calling the shots and calling people 'racist' don't intimidate us anymore lad.

  • @ocean3da The English have been around as an Ethnic group since about the 600s. The Anglo Saxon chronicle (written in the 800s attests to this) The English were actually one of the first people in Europe to develop a singular national identity, it formed in the 700s (when legal documents refer to England, the English and Wealas.. of Welshmen meaning "foriegners"). Fascists, Racists and bigots are disgusting. But showing some pride in your ethnicity is a good thing.

  • @ocean3da Check your facts first lad.See the English timeline at: englandandenglishhistory.c o m you might be surprised!

  • Yeah the ruling classes love to keep everyone dumb and "dopey" about a lot of things. I being mostly Saxon have my own red & white Saxon Dragon flag. I just wish learning original heathen era Anglisch wasn't such a pain in the ass.

  • *Awes the Angelisc might*

Hails from the wintry Tavastian northe.

  • Great band, though I feel kinda weird listening to this as Im Scottish xD

  • @GRAFFDEMON what's weird about it? XD i listen to korplikaani and threy're finnish :p

  • @wolfauraa You dont get it do you? England and Scotland in terms of the nationalism-pride part dont get along too well.

  • @GRAFFDEMON and? XD the past is the past it cant be changed and serious rivalry is long gone :) so just enjoy it lol and if you didnt know the finnish had the Vikings to come and kill all the english :p ^^ just enjoy the music lol

  • @wolfauraa Fair do's.

  • @GRAFFDEMON - don't worry. Your main problem, as Scots, was with Norman lords from England fighting Norman lords in Scotland, for your land. They've screwed us all!

Your borders were never really threatened by pre Norman England. (I believe Æthelstan was an "overlord" but didn't carry out a thorough conquest or settlement). The present queen has Wessex bloodline through YOUR Scottish royalty. - Malcolm III married Margaret of Wessex.

  • HAILS TO ENGLISH - GERMAN BROTHERHOOD!!

IN THE WORLD WARS IT WAS SAXON AGAINST SAXON.....

    THAT MUST NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!!!!

  • @14Praetorian

What a foolish comment. I am from Germany and would never consider myself to be Saxon. The Saxons were defeated in a bloody war and christianised by the tribe from the region where I live, the Franks (a Germanic tribe). To be German means to be of Celtic, Frankish, Swabian, Bavarii, Thuringii, Frisian, Slavic, and yes, Saxon origin, mixed with Huguenots, Jews, et. al. some centuries later. Sorry, but history very often is as complex and intricate as our globalised present days.

  • @Marcacatna1 Indeed, and, for me, it's not the standardzing of these dialects made by centralist governments that matters, but their rich variety as regional languages and dialects. Besides, even some germanic languages seem to have had some celtic substratum, whether in the lexicon only or also in its phonetics. On the other hand, I guess the gutural 'r" in standard French (latin,of course) may well be attributed to germanic Frankish influence, since no other latin language has it .

  • @14Praetorian

    true words brother.

i think we all should remember this, and its sad, that there are so many people

still thinking , that their are Enemies.

Hail to england from a german Brother.

  • @Felidrummer1 Haelsa Germanic friends. I have often been told that had Queen Victoria lived she would never have allowed the first war with a country she had familial links with: namely Germany. That and the second war served only to destroy England and our empire and hand over to American bankers and arms manufacturers our wealth.

Til biþ se þe his treowe gehealdeþ (good is he who keeps faith)

  • @14Praetorian Europe should unite!

a new enemy is rising, and the western world is just looking away... that's not the way it should be

  • @TheFirm1899 preventive nuke strike?

  • @14Praetorian HEIL!!

  • I love this song *-* Even if I'm German feel somehow associated with the English. btw, the melody is from "Robin Hood and the Tanner". ;)

  • @trollgott666

The English and Germans are related. I have always argued for greater closeness between the English and the people of Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark

  • As far as i understand, the normans were saxon, so all they did was add a little more saxon to our anglo-saxon, and brought a little norman culture, which without we probly would not have become a major world power.

  • @mbrill77

The Normans had descended from a group of Vikings, and the Vikings and Saxons were very nearly racially identical. But the Normans wrecked wonderful Anglo-Saxon culture, leaving the poor and working class English with little identity or culture of our own. The Normans also left us with a crippling class system; something else that is holding this country back. As for being a world power: what good did that do us? The British Empire crumbled and left us poor and nearly powerless

  • @DavyTom71 Blame Ted Heath for taking you into the EU. If the English people of Britain, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand had stuck together, we'd still count for something in the world. (It's our fault we didn't, just as much as yours.)

  • @DavyTom71 Finland suffered the same fate as England, because of the Sweds. They left us poor with our culture and identity and the Finnish Kingdoms crumbled...

And till now more than 90% of Finnish people do not even know about their history. That is a shame.

  • @Spelldagger

We English know how hard it is to have one's culture taken from you, and to have a ruling class that keeps it people in ignorance. But thanks to the internet, we can reach out to our peoples and teach them. I will never forget the time I woke up and realised that England had a culture that is so unlike the one we have now - and a history that had been ignored for centuries. At school, I was taught to believe the Saxons were barbaric and that the Norman invasion was a good thing

  • @DavyTom71 - Exactly! The English had one of the most advanced cultures, the oldest vernacular literature, and one of the richest economies in Northern Europe- which is why it was such a tempting target. The Normans gave us....... advanced TAX collecting, to fund foreign wars. Norman lords invaded Wales,Ireland, and Scotland, not to mention the problem in France(and the Crusades)- but who's to blame? Ah yes ,the English!

  • @adventussaxonum how do you figure that the English have the oldest vernacular literature ?

  • @adventussaxonum

Yep, that's how it is. The English get the blame. Hollywood movies portray the English as cruel bastards - while ignoring what the US has gotten up to. It is endemic in Scottish culture to racist and tell lies against the English. The bullshit version of events suits our neighbours because because they can play the 'oppressed minority' card, make the English feel guilty so we will give them loads of cash and accept unfairness, such as not being given an English Parliament

  • @DavyTom71 The Scots cling onto bullshit propaganda like Braveheart, because they know that England is truly bigger, stronger and and better and that they will always be in our shadow.

  • @MrStarbuck123

There is a lot of truth in what you say. King Jame VI of Scotland, after becoming King of England, united the Scottish and English crowns because England was richer and far more powerful. The Scots have always been jealous of England. They kid themselves that they are oppressed by the English, yet they can vote to leave the Union whenever they want. They just do not want to. The truth is: we English can manage without any of the so-called celtic nations

  • @adventussaxonum They say nothing is certain but death and taxes. Well that's pretty much all that the Normans brought us, anyway.

  • @adventussaxonum Ever hear of a lttle place known as Sumer?

  • @ZukaZumamee - yes, I've heard of Sumer ! And Akkad, and Ur. What has that got to do with northern Europe?

  • @DavyTom71 I'm a latino and hate when I have to use latin words in English,it sounds as if I were playing or pretending to speak it. When speaking a foreign language,I like the words which belong to that family trunk,at least many of the borrowings used in the daily lexicon are mostly germanic scandinavian in origin but the ruing classes made them belittled, lacking prestige.Any person who loves languages really will prefer the native words, only mainstream elitist scholars like the foreing ones.

  • @Gwynsek

Don't get me started on elitist scholars. England is riddled with middle-class so-called intellectuals who worship all foreign countries and cultures, but despise the culture and history of their own country - England. There is nothing wrong with appreciating foreign cultures but it is disgraceful that middle-class intellectuals and politicians spit on the country that has treated them so well

  • @DavyTom71 I agree , the pseudo-left that has allied with Islam and fostered the immigration of crowds of muslim fundamentalists are ruining Europe . But when it comes to giving political asylum to an atheist or a christian from a muslim country , they promptly deny it or put lots of obstacles ! Theirs is also a pseudo-multiculturalism ,c ause Islam is a hegemonist theocratic religion , a political ideology which also wipes or warps indigenous cultures in all aspects...and smashes civil life.

  • I just think we must be on our guard against racism while promoting the preservation of cultural treasures of any kind, whether the be the ancient pagan cults, the native lexicon in the language,or anything related to it.

  • @Gwynsek

An English rebirth is necessary. An independent English Commonwealth, free of the shackles of the United Kingdom and the European Union would be even better. However, you are so right that we have to on guard against racists and far-right lunatics who tend to hijack causes like these

  • @Gwynsek The SECOND the wicked word English is used, the little 'liberals' sneak out of their cupboard.

If this was the day our Scotland/Wales died the 'celticists' would be hugging themselves with woad covered faces and banging on about Robert The Bruce etc.

  • @DavyTom71 indeed, most english people are completely ignorant of their past and history
