I was a kid when I first saw this of my own volition, knew no one else who had seen it or heard of it, and I instantly fell in love with it because I thought it was original, hilarious, and romantic. And I'm a sheep? I call bullshit. It's supposed to be corny and just cause it doesn't have hollywood effects doesn't make it any less of a great movie.
