  • Ein Hoch auf Deutschland!

    Ich liebe den Zapfenstreich;)

  • Isn't it allowed these days to be proud to be a German? Why do we have to suffer for what has been, while all the others, having done similar, mean to be the better ones?

I a proud to be a German. And this march is from van Beethoven. I like it.

  • @slawkowo Germany is a great nation! I am proud to be of German ancestry!

  • I have had the great pleasure to visit Germany every year since 2002. The hospitality is awesome.

Oh, by the way, brass bands kick ass!

    Thanks for posting.

  • So awesome! Military tradition is still a tradition worth preserving, especially when married to democracy and freedom as in Germany :D

  • And we still have it! ;)

  • Impressive work and incredible discipline. A sign of how hard working and honest a nation Germany is. Cheers for the professional display by our German allies. Es Lebe Deutschland und Deutsch Soldaten! Es Lebe Deutschland und USA!

    A "Yank."

  • For freedom and rightousnes. For democracy and human rights. And for the straight of german ancestors, including the holay roman empire of german nations.

  • One of my favourite marches. I first came across it in 1968 whilst serving in the B A O R at Sennelager.

  • Black uniforms.! Steel helmets! Torchlight parades! Imperial marches! These modern day posers strut about as if they were real Germans. While they play soldier, Turks and Arabs are overrunning their pathetic nanny state. Enervated by socialism & atheism, Germans don't even bother to reproduce at replacement rates & are headed for extinction by the middle of the next century. Restore your Kaiser! Fill your churches! Drive out your Muslim invaders! KNOCK UP YOUR WOMEN. Save yourselves.

  • @horselips Why am I not surprised, that you are from the USA. Educate yourself, fool. I'll never understand how all the sane Americans can live in a country with so many idiots like yourself.

  • @soschautesaus You offered no counter to the demographic fact that Germans may be here today, but if things don't change, they will not be here tomorow. It's not just Germany - France is likely to be majority Muslim by 2040. Amsterdam, Vienna & Stockholm as well. So, enjoy being a junkyard for surplus Turks. But don't worry - you'll just love Sharia law. Your whole continent is a powder keg. When it blows, remember you were warned.

  • @horselips

Germany has always been a European hub for mass immigration. Let it be the French Huguenots or Polish workers to the Ruhrpott or more centuries ago different European tribes. So there's nothing wrong with immigrants. The German Kaiser btw. was allied with Turkey. The problem is not atheism. Its the religious believes of a minority of the immigrants today. The majority of immigrants are great. To offer to fight fire with fire ie Christian religion is just ridiculous.

  • @soschautesaus I agree there's nothing wrong with immigrants -my country (USA) was built by immigrants - but only by legal & fully assimilated imigrants. They DIDN'T bring an incompatible religion & they didn't try to force that religion's evil laws on the existing culture. Muslim majorities always bring Sharia Law. The demographic fact of Germany's (& Europe's) irretrievably declining birthrate spells disaster for German culture, & the very existence of the German people. Start making babies!

  • @horselips since several years already the trend has chanced: more turks move from germany to turkey then the other way around. so necessarily every calculation to the year 2040 has so change aswell, and will do so many times more until that year.

btw, in turkey they are considered to be german.

  • @Blindanddumb Thanks for the update on that. But still, just to guarantee that we have magnificent Germans for the future, please knock up your women! Get that birthrate back up!. (Try it - it's FUN.)

  • @horselips alright sir, right on it. lol

  • @horselips black uniforms where worn by the ss. the colour of the german army is grey, and has been so since prussian times.

  • Germans have soften a lot, if you want to see the real Prussian march, search for Chilean military parade, they are awesome!

  • Shame they got rid of Stechschritt would really have made this display great if they did it.

  • Duetchland uber alles

  • God bless the great Empire of Deutschland!

  • @cathkinghost Against what?

  • totale gänsehaut bei meinem gelöbnis!!!

  • @cathkinghost

    Amen

  • Great we Brits the white ones anyway are cousins

  • Yorck 'shen March! Great march! almost italian march

  • @rempageable Idiot, dont confound state with nation. In the US, Germans are the largest ancestry group with 17%. You should also look up the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation.

  • I agree that the 1866 brother war between Austria and Prussia and the1871 declaration of the German empire within the borders of the lesser German solution was a historical error. The religious dispute between catholics and protestants was useless, Bavarians (Austrians) have always been the biggest German tribe and the Greater German solution closely allied with the non-German speaking parts of Austria could have formed a modern and succecentral European power. And yes the BRD is not Germany.

  • @rempageable Germany is not a historical error, The German Confederation existed way before those times and the German people were umongst the most well trained and powerful military forces on the face of the planet back in the day, and before the confederation they were united under the banner of the Holy Roman Empire, which was neither Holy nor Roman, despite the name. Germany= historically rich state

  • I agree and as a young soldier visiting your lovely ancient towns and villages I saw great evidence of age and tradition. I have respect for Germans generally, and for the country and traditions. Greetings from England.

  • Germany will rise again!

Gott schütze unser Vaterland, unsere Demokratie, unseren Rechtsstaat und unsere tapfere Armee

  • ma non avevano detto che erano cambiati ???

  • Don't you get it? The music is completely hilarious! Beethoven's hatred of regimentation is illustrated totally in this really, really funny piece of music. See how he "wrong foots" the band? Well done again Laughing Boy Ludo!

  • great march ! nice

    Massimo from Italy

  • German´s are coming over and over again

  • Gruselig...

Was soll ich vergleichen?

  • it's from van Beetvoven...and a march for the german troops against Napoleon.

i think there is all said in the description from winnie^^

  • look and believe thats german warriors

  • Just stop it! is the music just wonderful, and leave it their! I guess if you "History Majors" had you way, We would be into world war three by now! Albert Einstein said " I do not know what world war three would be fought with" But I do what "world war four would be fought with" :\"Sticks and stones" take a lesson! For Christ sake!

  • My favorite part is where France's power is 80% Nuclear. The US's power is 70% oil and coal.

  • My friend and I got into a huge debate on this and we eventually agreed that if France and Germany actually joined together they would rule the world no problem

  • @MirdalaSolus People underestimate France, she almost ruled Europe and the Middle east in the early 19th Cent, Britain stopped them, but only after 30 years of war.

It was France that assisted the Americans to defeat the British in 1776. France is unfortunate that her bounderies are difficult to protect. She dosn't have a river Rhine or an English Channel or the 'Steppes' like Russia. Finally France was bled white in WW1. Today France holds enough nuclear weapons to take out the US.

  • A wonderful march and great spectacle. Greetings from Britain

  • a wee bit like pre ww2, looks good though. i think they just got away with it.

  • @cathkinghost yeah u right

  • They're going on tour; first stop Poland in September, second is Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, and France; and the last show is in Russia

  • @ZackMyslinski Their last show will ultimately be canceled due to poor weather conditions and negative reception from the Russian people though...

    How unfortunate.

  • @ZackMyslinski would be very funny if that was true ;D

  • @ZackMyslinski LOLLLLLLL

  • @ZackMyslinski Don't forget their short trip to El Alamain!

  • @ZackMyslinski What about UK ?

  • I think you simply must find out what the South American communist said about him then form your very thin opinion of b.o. since when has communist been liberal? As I see it it is far from liberal about anything!

  • When the communist them selves call "Obama" a communist worse than they are , it is time to take aware! Those are Castro and his brother, Daniel Ortega, and Hugo Chavez! This is the truth! Darn it! I hate It when they are correct!

  • Do you not think it all was just human survival after all? Bismark declared "wars are fought with blood and iron" after he said that I believe that there were a large amount of German Immigrants heading to the United States! No I do not live in Fascist land but If I had a choice I would rather be their than in jail in commie land!

  • I would like to partially "enlist" these German fantastic performers to help remove the obvious Communist barack obama from office! It was Germany that helped George Washington and no one else! As for the recent attraction with the royal Family I suddenly have to crap!

  • @Doug48794 Man!! You're out there in fascistland!! FYI, in Germany, even conservatives are far to the left compared to the US, and BTW, Germany didn't exist during our Independence war, in fact two regiments of Hessians were fighting on the side of King George, but it was a Prussian officer, Baron von Steuben who turned our ragtag militias into a true army in the Prussian mold. But I bet you don't want to know why von Steuben changed his mind and decided to come to America after all....

  • @Doug48794 France actually had a huge part in America's victory too. Von Steuben did a lot, to be sure. Kinda sad how the US dicked him over after the war though.

  • @Doug48794 a fox fool for sure Obama isn't even very liberal let alone a communist. what a fool admit it its not his politics you object to, its his color you sad little imitation of a man.

  • Only the Germans and the British know how to parade properly

  • @VigisKane Napoleonic era France did too.

  • Wow the German army looks so benign and unthreatening. I guess that's the point though isn't it? Time for Germany to stand up and be proud again!

  • The GERMANS sure know how to put a PARADE. . .

  • The composer of this song, Beethoven, was the fifth child born of his mother, and the first who was not stillborn or mentally challenged, a circumstance that would motivate many today to have an abortion. Imagine if this song had never been written?

  • I have only had the beer twice, It was the best! Most Americans would not know a good beer ! They drink it far to cold! It could be a glass of Urine they would not know the difference! Thank you Dortmund!

  • This is the best military march ever!

  • I''m sorry Wilhelm II can't see this.

  • THE GERMANS ARE COMING!

  • @VigisKane

Yes, with Guido Westerwelle riding in front xDD

  • @grossesTennis salut, wesrewelle isr vergaenglich, die tradition nichtq;

  • Comment removed

  • @VigisKane Today, sadly it is more muslims than germans that would come to attack if Germany made a war again...

  • This is a fantastic march, but they are not quite as lean and trim as they should be too much Becks and dortmunder! Possible use of good Italian tailors also good Idea! OH well all peoples change somewhat! Still a fantastic job!

  • @Doug48794 You know Beer from Dortmund ? Nice :)

    greetings from Dortmund

  • @Grummel1971

    ...traurig, aber wahr....:-(

  • I am quite sure that Napolian was the best Frenchman ever made , until I rethink that statement he was an Italian! He came from a northern Italian family! Does that mean that their was not any excellent Frenchman?

  • @Doug48794

I'm french and i can say that french soldiers have always behaved well during wars. However the command have always been bad. In cause, their recruitment which doest not depend from their skills but from their friendship with the politics. Do remember that tactics of blitzkrieg were inspired partially from a book of De Gaulle. De Gaulle talk to his hierarchy about that tactics but he has never been heard.

  • @gui94210 The Best French soldiers were in the Charlemagne Division! ha. But you are right about DeGaulle and his knowledge of blitzkrieg and the idea of "schwerpunkt".

  • Beethoven :)) probably one of the best military marches!

  • The NVA marches a lot better than the Bundeswehr, especially when they march with the goose steps. They should bring the NVA back and get rid of the ugly looking Bundeswehr.

  • @CDPDPatrolUnit Im sorry to correct you. they marchED! And its good the way it is!

  • 9 people surrenderd

  • Thank you for the information on Herr Von Steuben...That is the one that General George Washington was always thanking!

  • Why don't they restore the old Prussian march which is way more beautiful the American style;the uniform looked terrible.East German march has style and way better.

  • At one time early in American history their was a Prussian General who help George Washington organize the bunch of early "dirt farming Americans" into a modern Army, So far I can not see where this type of military training as done nothing but ad to a nations respect! Ask those stinking British Redcoats! I did forget that Prussians name perhaps someone can refresh my memory!

  • @Doug48794

    Yep. Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben.

  • @Allante715 By the way his correct name has been "Reichsfreiherr Friedrich Wilhelm Ludolf Gerhard Augustin von Steuben".

  • @Doug48794

It was Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben.

  • @Nilspferd94 Von F .W. Steuben a Prussian Officer born in 1730 in Magdeburg and introduced the military knowledge and organisation of the prussian into the US Army - he also founded Westpoint, etc.

  • And, to add to that, how is it any different for them to march like this than for us to have July 4th or the British having Boxing Day? Or the Mexicans Cinco De Mayo?

If one stould back, they could say that the US worships Militarism, and the same for the British, and for Russia. Well, we all went through the "Emperialism" period,(s), but now it's about what we currently stand for. All of us are now for Freedom, Independance and the end of Tyranny. Ex: Libya...So, I say "GO GERMANY! BE PROUD!"

  • I don't know about all this political who-ha on here, but traditions are traditions!!! I am in the US Army, and we have many similiar military dress traditions, just because in ours we don't carry torches doesn't matter. I am part German in ancestry,(my father) and I for one openly support Germany being proud and strong!! Germany is one of our greatest allies in Afghanistan! When the war there started to become unpopular they remained and have stood with us since!

  • Simply fantastic!

  • The thing is: we are now in the 21st century, we are all for peace, and the Germans have consacred their Army to humanitarian actions and international cooperation.

But I understand all this. Is f****king Ludwig van Beethoven. When you got it, flaunt it.

  • If the Der Furher would of gotten drug treatment, Formed some kind of a good deal for Poland and went through Poland to Liberate Ukrania, and stopped his Army when the soil was not as good, held that position and gave grain away to starving communists, Put that animal "Stalin" in a cage, lighten up on the Jews a little bit...I think you would be talking about a "Hero" today.... SEE WHAT DRUGS CAN DO! please people take lessons from history!!!

  • @EugenedeSavoy. Its simply a Prussian tradition. Nothing to do with the Nazis.

  • Hmm.. Fine marching, well tailored uniforms, good music but... marching with torches???!!! Scary!!!

  • Das waren noch Zeiten!

  • Comment removed

  • Wunderbar!

  • Sehr beeindruckend : ) Danke fürs Hochladen...

  • I would imagine that this march would send Frenchmen hiding under their beds!

  • Simple Awesome!

  • LINKS IST RECHTS EINDEUTIG ÜBERLEGEN!

    NAZIS LOOSEN AB!

  • Thats right, i was talking about that warten... guy, yeah

  • I don't think that's strictly fair @Mirmaker.The French did fight bravely before their Government surrendered.Their officers were not that good (re pulling guns on their own men on the beaches in order to rush the boats).Had their Government not demanded the return of those evacuated French troops the allies would have benefitted from a larger Free French Force.Your Government's incompetence is a bitter pill to swallow. The French (like us) are taught a selective, biased history.

  • @Insperato62 May be, that mirmaker made his comment by thinking on Ludwig Yorck von Wartenburg. As a prussian fieldmarshal he and Blücher succesfully beated the French troops under Napoleon. Thats why Beethoven named the song to him.

  • @OBELIX7708

Es geht um "Marschmusik!" Soldaten im Einsatz! Man, oh, man...?..

  • 1. Weg mit dem Homo-Helm

    2. Her mit dem preußischen Stechschritt

  • @AustrianAtheist

  • @AustrianAtheist

    Ihr habt echt Probleme

  • You could atleast put some spikes in the top of those silly GI helmets :) and the torch light parade, really, just remember where the vaterland ends and Polska begins,OK. ;)

  • Das treibt jeden Franzosen in die Flucht. :D Etwas Spaß muss sein.

  • lol von wegen yorch`schen korps...

das is das wach btl ihr pflaumen

  • Greetings from FInland =)

  • Amazing scene Amazing people .......... i love Germany

  • where have Germanys days of glory gone?

  • @Toby48624 Are you quite mad! Traumfrauen to a leading global power in little more than sixty years...Glory...Gone!????

  • @Biofishable

    Merkel=Glory?

  • @Toby48624. umm........

  • @Biofishable

    think so too

  • @Toby48624

    Ahead of her, as planned.

  • If i were a french, i would already been practicing saying "I surrender" in german.

  • @Mirmaker ha thats funny

  • @Mirmaker Je capitule!

  • @Mirmaker "Ich ergebe mich !"

  • @Mirmaker

what's the first thing a french soldier learns in basic training?

how to surrender in 9 languages.

  • @Vietcong01 actually that would be more proper for the Italians! lol

  • @vetdino Italians - No -Roman Emipre - Yes!

  • @Vietcong01 Yes! Germans only need to understand English to surrender.

  • @Vietcong01 And what´s the first thing, a German soldier leans in basic training? 101 different strategies how to loose a war *gg*

  • @CosmicBlueSC

    pretty funny, huh?

  • @Vietcong01 If only that was funny.

  • @Vietcong01 The story goes that when EuroDisney opened in Paris with much fanfare and fireworks, the ceremony had to be cut short, because a local French garrison surrendered.

  • @Mirmaker

Unless you were lead by Napoleon.

  • @Allante715 And unless frederick the great would lead the germans :o
