Yaeh!!! I am proud to have one Alinco DX77!!! Awesome audio! 26TM001 Please, receive my salute and strong and the best 73's 51's for you 26TM001 from 03BY001, from Rio de Janeiro South East Brazil! Our Bravo Yankee DX Group have our directory and General Quarter in Costa Rica, all the FreeBand Radio Friends are wellcome!!! My regards and the best calorous 73's 51's for all Englishes Radio Operators, and Ammateurs Radio Family!!! God save the Queen, I LOVE AND RESPECT YOUR FLAG, I LOVE U.K.!!!
The TX mod is called Beyond Mars and can easily be found on google "TS480 beyond mars" You just have to take out one resistor to TX 1.7 to 30 and 49 to 54MhZ. This will invalidate your waranty and will no longer be a legal machine so I don't reccomend it.
You are talking complete rubbish. I bought my radio from Martin Lynch, They offer the full wide band TX mod for £17.50, this does not make your radio illegal. Furthermore the warranty is still valid by Kenwood as the mod was carried out by a authorised technician!!!
It's pretty obvious that if you use the TX`er to TX anywhere without a licence it's illegal and if you did the mod yourself you would invalidate the warranty... hardly worth mentioning but I thought you probably hadn't realised. May I introduce you to the wonders of licenced amateur radio? It's a really great way to TX legally and great fun to.
I am a HAM but I thought I would mention this to you sir. In other countries there is a license for CB the USA is the only country that does not license it's CBers
In fairness to Arctree he did state if the mod was done yourself it would invalidate the warranty and TX'ing on 27555 is illegal. Finally why do Martin Lynch charge £17.50 for full wide-band TX when the others offer it for free?
Everybody who is intrested in a International CB Super sunday (Worldwide... Please Contact me somehow with info about these super sundays or anything like this...
well done darren its films like this that can only do are fantastic hobby more good ,i have spoken to more professional operaters on 11 meters than the ham bands, and why is it a waste on 11 meters !!this is one of the best bands when its open ,so all you hams who have come from 11 m stop knocking it ,double standards or what !!!!!! by the way i have me ticket as well and so do a lot of other operators who just happen to be hanging around on the triple 5 !!!! what u oh never!!!!!!!!
what is the point of all this here, just to be able to make contact with other people through radio transmission? i can understand and appreciate the value of this.. i think, am i missing something here?
interesting how CB'ers in N.America and Europe are totally different ! the European CB'ers are more respectable! I like the Kenwood gear. Im a ham and will stay that way! . Radio is radio though Take care!
I cant believe you are using a TS2000 on 11M ... bit of a waste , Why dont you take the Ham Exam and use it to its full ability and also you would be legal .. Not knocking you at all , just my opinion . Nice Radio by the way .
He is Legal he is Licensed he gave his CB call and it doesnt sound like a made up CB Handle to me. USA does not license their CBers but other countries do
@number6z No they didn't they still have to pass a test and pass morse code unless they got rid of Code like the US. All Amateurs have to pass a test of some sort some countries are harder than others.

Perhaps in the US it would make it illegal and void the warranty? But not in the UK. It is a very nice video demonstrating using this rig mobile.

I did not know that you could transmit on 11 meters with the TS480. Did you have to modify the radio to do that?
