  • Owsome!! just one question, what is a scallop ?

  • @TitliNihaan I've just read that The Monty Python troupe is putting out a new film "Absolutely Anything". I'm glad to live long enough to see it.

  • Imagine all the people ,eating this recipe ,hou hou hou hou hou ... (Music J lennon ,words... me ! AND this great dish TITLI !!!

  • This may be a stupid question.. but do rice noodles taste like.. well, rice? lol!

  • @natalie1605 They basically taste like... nothing. But they're good for adding a some filler to a meal.

  • Looks good! (Anything with ginger...)

  • What a load of old scallops!

  • I dont think scallops are halal. I know seafood is halal (some of it) But scallops are not one of them. Scallops are omnivores, which means NOT halal. Animals that eat other animals are not halal...

  • @AiWarning It all depends on which Madhab you follow.

  • @AiWarning

"Lawful to you is game from the sea and its food as provision for you and the travelers, but forbidden to you is game from the land as long as you are in the state of ihram. And fear Allah to whom you will be gathered." [AlMa'idah:96]

Some scholars argue about things like crocodiles and frogs since they are amphibians, but scallops?!

  • @AiWarning no any fish is halal, and if i am wrong please inform me, and may allah forgive me.

  • @AiWarning All sea food is halal. Even sharks are halal.

  • You should apply to be a contestant on Come Dine With Me, you'll bag that £1000 prize no problem! Have you ever thought about doing television? x

  • I'd be fine with carrots and lettuce. They're two of my favourites :)

  • @emsyduckie Moi aussi !!!

  • What r 'corals'? Never heard of them. T.Y.

  • @GriffinElliot The corals are the roe (eggs) of the scallop. Delicious!

  • Somebody showed me the easiest way to peel ginger...using a teaspoon. :) Just try it. :) Greetings from Germany!

  • Titli! the noodles that you use, don't necessarily need the extra frying, although leaving them out for too long will make them hard, maybe cook them in the water for a little while longer.

its okay for the to be a tiny soggy, as long as they are not dripping with water or extremely mushy.

    =)

    xx!

  • A big squeeze of citrus wouldn' go amiss there Titli, either lemon or pref lime juice and a little grated zest, adds zero calories and just brings out the sweetness of the scallops.

  • Hi Titli!

is it harram to consume shrimps? (random question lol)

  • @TheVideoHuman Of course it's not haram o_o

  • @TheVideoHuman That is to judge. Sme might say ti is, some may say its fine :)

  • Ya Allah i love uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

    Bless thee

  • BTW why are we up so early

  • i can do with beef? yes right?

  • @xxoravenoxx Not really

  • At 2:05 a piece of spring onion flew away oO

  • Vegetable oil won't kill you, use rapeseed oil or peanut oil, sunflower oil. almost anything except animal fat won't do you any harm and even that won't do you any harm every now and again. Dry frying is a waste of time, you can't build flavor and you will spend more time cleaning burn spots from your pans than you will cooking. Seasoning is also essential, soy sauce is not salt, it was never meant to be a substitute for salt. If you don't ingest salt that will adversely affect your health.

  • @Cytacon What is your problem?

  • @TitliNihaan lol

  • @Cytacon Asian people use soysauce instead of salt because it already IS salty. and after all, deep frying adds a lot of fat to your dish, no matter if you use vegetable oil or any other kind.

  • @maritschie I never said to deep fry anything, using a realistic amount of oil in not deep frying.

  • @maritschie o.O He said dry frying. Obviously deep frying would add alot of oil, as the whole method is submerging food in oil.

  • @Cytacon I thought that was very informative! :)

  • @Cytacon Erhm just cahse she doesnt use salt in this dish doesnt mean she isnt getting any salt AND to much salt is bad for you anyways...

On the subject of soy sauce, some soy sauces are really salty so adding more salt would just ruin the taste..

  • @Cytacon shut up

  • YUM.

  • We love you Titli. Can u make dosas ?

  • Looks good.

  • Those scallops are huge!

  • I'm also the second commenter, as well as the first :-)

  • Yum. So healthy!
