HEY EVERYONE, I have a question:

Let's say you and I have the same exact cables, same exact interface, same exact computer, same exact microphone BUT we use different software. Let's say you use Pro Tools and I use Acid Pro.

Not considering any pulgins, mixing, etc...if we record the same thing, will yours or mine sound better only because we have different softwares? Don't softwares make the difference only when it comes to FX and all that?

I downloaded Acid Pro 7 and when I came for the mixing, there was a folder in the program called Unavailable with all the Plug-ins I need to mix (like Track EQ, Reverb and Simple Delay). Tell how can I get those Plug-ins cuz its essential for a mixing! Thanks in advance!

you have to re-install the plugins. in acid pro 7 go to plugin picker, click browse, go to where your plug ins are originally located, then refresh the folder.

should work...!

Just to let you know,.. Wave Hammer doesn't come stock with Acid Pro,.. it does for Soound Forge,. but not Acid,.. I contacted the support desk, and thats the answer they gave me,. :(

Cool edit pro is a 2 track wave editor. Sony ACID is a multi-track, non-destructive editor. That means, you can't do what you're trying to do with Sony ACID. Most people use both a wave editor and a multitrack together, either cool edit, sound forge, goldwave or audacity.

Everybody copies and pastes from left to right...

But in order to save them as a mixed audio 2 track (wav or mp3). Just go to file, render as. This is help file stuff, homie.

That is strange. I've noticed that it's not coming with newer versions of Acid. It comes with Sound Forge though, if that helps.

Sony Vegas and Sony Acid trim audio in the exact same way. Even the shortcuts are the same.

Find somebody who's selling a copy? I really have no idea. I don't think that Sony sells acid 5 anymore, so you'd have to find an old package that some retailer/e-tailer has lying around.

hi i think pan to resolve fighting freq. issue is not the good way ,ur song ll be played in radio MONO so u need to find another way like EQ song have to sound great evean in MONO

You are right-- eq'ing, in conjunction with panning and phasing (which is the most difficult, so I did not address it) are the best option. However, radio stations do not all broadcast in Mono. The station I work for broadcasts in stereo. And I hope that if a song is being played on the radio, the man/woman who engineered the song knows quite a bit more than I do. :P
